Chapter 4- my past

Andreas POV

The boys walked out of the room looking at us suspiciously.

"Tell us" Liam's- oh erm our mother demanded .

"Oh uhh" I fidgeted around nervously.

"Please. You can tell us Andrea." Liam instructed.

"Okay." I sighed in defeat.

"Let me start from the beginning...

So erm I've lived in Michigan for the past few years. Everyone thought I was from England because of the British accent but I of course started losing my accent and getting an American accent. Anyways my so called 'father' didn't have much money so we stayed in a house for 'most' of the time. He usually..uhm he came home drunk very often..." I said looking away from them.

I don't want them to know all of it. It's too heartbreaking.

"Uhm we ended up losing the house and we lived on the streets for a couple months every year." I paused to see their faces that held pity.

"We didn't get much so we were grateful for what we had."

"Erm he still somehow found the money to keep drinking. And yeah so I finally left around 18 to go to Australia which was nice. Then when I turned 19 which was a few months ago I decided to come to London and yeah that's it."

I told then most of it. I didn't want to tell them all of it. They may be family but it will hurt then even more.

"Is that it?" Liam's face held a stone hard expression. If I didn't know him I would think he is one to fight often.

"Yeah." I lied.

" Okay." he sighed.

He seemed to look like he knew there was more but he wouldn't want to make me say anything.

Mum was speechless.

She was staring at me with tears rolling down her face.

"Oh honey I'm so so sorry!" she ran to me and hugged me strongly.

"Um it's okay mum really" I lied. it's actually not okay because I haven't told them the whole story. I'd rather not tell. Liam will probably get it out of me sooner or later...

I still can't believe that this has all happened. I'm also not used to calling them my mum or brother.

But it feels nice to say.

Family.

I have a family.

A real family.
