Jealousy hidden in every corner,
slipping into the cracks beneath the earth,
waiting to feast upon those who let it,

it seaks the one it wants,
~a girl angry at her sister, for getting all the guys, as she gets pushed into the dust.
it jumps out,
seeping into her soul,
taking control,
not wanting to let go.
Down the street, across the way,
it stalks hungrily awaiting for its feast,
by and by, through and through,
~a boy wanting that beautiful girl, holding the hand of his best friend, dreaming of them running away together.
it laughs at you,
knowing the foolish person you are,
hidden in the shadows,
it awaits all the fools that wont stop it.
