The Twilight movies were playing on tv today so I got a bit of inspiration. I want to get a few more chapters in before I go back to school since I don't know when I'll have time to write once classes start up.
Happy reading!

(Jacob's POV)There's supposed to be a pack meeting this morning. The last thing I want right now is to shift and have everyone hearing my constant thoughts of Rebecca. I'm sure Quil, Embry, and Jared have already told them, but that doesn't make going any easier. I do not want to to be harassed right now...
Too bad that's exactly what I got.
'Jake!'
'Jacob'
'Jake'
'Jake'
Everyone's thoughts filled my head all at once.
'Is it true?'
'Is it possible?'
Suddenly, without meaning to, images of Rebecca Cullen slideshow rapidly in my mind. Seeing her in the store. Seeing her at the Cullen house. Her dark brown hair. Her golden brown eyes. Her smile. Her laugh. Seeing the reel of memories I suddenly realize how short our time together had been. I couldn't wait to see her again. Tonight!
Shortly after displaying my encounter with Rebecca to the pack, new memories were being played. Rebecca in the woods, with the rest of the Cullen's. She can read minds, like Edward. Or, she sort of can. The jumble of thoughts began getting confusing to follow, so instead, I just decide to focus my attention on what I felt was most important. Her face.
Paul suddenly interrupts with a fit of giggles. 'Karma just kicked you in the ass!' His wolf self at this point began rolling on the ground, wheezing. 'The hybrid! You were more pessimistic than I was!'
'It's not funny,' I grumble in my head. Paul's laughter echoes in my mind, getting louder and louder by the second. Finally, I leap over to the silver wolf and tackle him.
'Boys, boys!' Sam growls. 'Enough. We have more to discuss than just Jacob's new imprint.' Obediently, Paul and I separate with bowed heads.
'Yeah, these newborns sound like a real pain,' Embry sighs.
'What did you learn about them at the meeting yesterday?' Seth asks. I mentally thank him, since I too had missed the information session.
'The Cullen's said they are stronger than regular vampires because their human blood still runs through their veins. This makes them unpredictable and dangerous. We cannot let these beings leave the clearing, or havoc will surely reach our people.' Even though the majority of the pack was familiar with this information everyone remained hushed as the alpha speaks. 'The best way to beat them will be by being just as unpredictable as they are. These creatures are not like our normal foes. They will be outnumbering us. But, if we fight as a pack, we will be victorious.'
The pep talk was short lived. The remainder of our meeting was spent practicing fight techniques. Afterwards, we all transformed back into our human forms to get lunch at Sam and Emily's.
"Yes!" Quil exclaims as we get close to the door. "I smell grilled cheese!" We all walk a little bit faster once hearing this. The smell his my senses soon after and I become just as excited as Quil had been. Entering the front door I'm overwhelmed with the feeling of comfort. Emily has already prepared two sandwiches on separate plates for each of us guys set up on the counter with more being prepared as we enter. We each grab a plate and spread out around the living and dining rooms. I grab a seat on the couch along with Quil, Embry and Seth.
