SCENE: school field, tents pitched up and tables set up.
TIME: morning
••••••
I still can't believe we got permission from the principal even though it's a school day and you plastered the flyer over his portrait in the office.
That was an accident.
There are no accidents, Kyle.
What can he say? It's for the school itself, plus it has all that team spirit and cooperation written all over its face. It'll be good for the school.
I guess, and finally I can be over this whole auditorium and class thing. By the way, Kyle, why the hell do you have a baseball bat next to you?
Just in case I see a certain someone. Thought you'd never ask. Trust me, it's for show only.
You're crazy.
Don't test me.
I wouldn't. Oh, look at all those people streaming in! There's even some not from our school- I guess word really got around.
Right, I guess we got to split then and see all the stalls are alright. We won't see each other till this is done.
Sure! I'm so glad others pitched in. Cookies only can't bring this whole horde to our doorsteps.
I know. Can you come and see me after this is over?
[Camilla widens her eyes in surprise.]
Of course.
Great.
