Hey guys I'm back with writing. I realized I've been half asleep each time i write a chapter so here I am hopefully posting this only a little after I write it. Anyways, happy New Years!! Sorry if that's really late, just depends on when I publish the chapter lol.
Okay, without furthermore discussion, I present chapter nine.

Satoshi looked up to Yoshiki, a short sigh escaping his mouth. There was a hint of sadness in his expression when Yoshiki really looked at him. Ignoring this, he gave a forced smile and started to continue their journey throughout the long hallways and empty classrooms.

Neither had noticed but there was a long corridor just to their left. Completely oblivious, they both nervously watched each other as they walked. There were two big doors where the sound of rain started to get louder. A hint of lightning could be heard as well.

Yoshiki only noticed when he opened the left door. It was really cold outside actually. He averted his attention to Satoshi with the most reassuring smile he could muster.

The storm only got stronger each step they took before hearing a scream coming closer and closer yet not close enough for them to feel greatly alarmed. A body fell from what it looked like the sky and down on the dirty, muddy ground. The body appeared to be a full grown male wearing a formal business suit.

This repeated, over and over. All the two could do was stand in shock, watching this happen again and again.

Yoshiki quickly wrapped his arm around Satoshi's lower back and led him to the nearest doors which they hadn't seen before.

The doors opened up to a whole other building with new dusty floors and creepy hallways. Only questions of fear and mystery filled their heads.

Satoshi felt Yoshiki's hand shake against his lower back. There was also huge signs of terror from his pale face and also his eyes too. They weren't as lively as usual. Satoshi felt bad, feeling like he was only making things worse for the other male.

Pulling Satoshi closer, Yoshiki guided him to a weird looking hallway. It was a completely different arrangement which was of course expected but there was also a whole other atmosphere that was different from any other.

Maybe it was because of the thin air or just the feeling of being at the school itself but Yoshiki started to feel light-headed. He suddenly stopped walking, trying to balance himself from falling to the floor.

Satoshi held tight of his torso, leading him toward a nearby classroom. There was no actual place to lay him down so he carefully and gently put him down on the teacher's podium.

"Are you okay?" Satoshi asked. He felt like an airhead himself but it didn't bother him much. He hovered over the blond as he waited for a response. There was worry in his deep brown eyes.

Yoshiki nodded his head as he sat up. "It's no big deal, we should continue on.." He spoke meekly. "I don't want to stop us from finding anyone else." Yoshiki added, trying to convince his best friend to let them both continue on.

Satoshi let out a quiet groan. He gave a sarcastic smile to Yoshiki, not believing that he was okay. "We should rest now. You're going to need your stamina for finding the others, right?" Satoshi said and lightly tapped his best friend's shoulder.

Yoshiki let his body rest against the wall and so did Satoshi, looking at the ceiling with a bored expression. Drifting off to sleep, he held Yoshiki's hand in his own. There wasn't anything more calming than this, not in this school anyway.

The rain held up but there was still a light sprinkle here and there that came down. Falling asleep to this soothing situation as well, the blond relaxed his head on the brunette's shoulder.

The couple calmly gained energy again. They both rested for about 20 minutes before Satoshi awoke to a weird presence in the room. There was a cold feeling that felt like it was surrounding them as if they were in a bubble.

He looked around with wide eyes. He let go of  Yoshiki's hand and got up slowly, trying not to disturb the other's slumber. He went to go check it out from a distance so he could stay near Yoshiki. Satoshi couldn't feel safe without his best friend at this time.

There was a silent moment where he couldn't hear anything or even see anything. Satoshi felt his heart start to ache and his hands start to shake. Feeling anxious, he glanced back at Yoshiki with the slightest bit of worry. Life was drained almost completely from his face.

The blond's body seemed to be in terrible condition compared to just a few moments back. His eyes were the worst to look at. They lost the love they used to have and Satoshi couldn't handle looking again.

Yoshiki's didn't show any sign of breathing or anything at all for that matter. A lifeless corpse at this time now. Satoshi's knees gave in and he fell to the ground with a thump. He placed Yoshiki's limply head on his lap, feeling as though his neck was about to snap if he dared move him again.

Satoshi caressed his face with his hand as tears formed in his eyes. The lone male felt pressure on his own head and his skin tightened.

Yoshiki's head didn't seem to be injured until- pop. Blood gushed horridly from the blond's decapitated head and onto Satoshi's school uniform. Small bits of what he guessed was his brain fell sloppily onto his lap.

Air head, right? Satoshi fell back onto the floor, covering his mouth. The tears rolled down his face, no matter how much he tried to stop himself from crying it was impossible not to.

The quivering boy sat, looking blankly at his best friend's corpse. A smile formed on his face. The small gesture transformed into fits of laughter. That very sound filled the hallway.

Heyy sorry but I'm updating! This is not the end of the story, do not worry. Planning on writing a couple more chapters so yeah. Thank you for reading!!
