Hello, I don't know who would really be reading this as I'm sure the last interaction this fic has had was years ago but I just thought of this account and this story and I reread it and I thought, well, it ended on such a disappointing note and I have a lot of free time.. SO WHY NOT. I haven't written in a while, definitely not any fanfics so please keep that in mind. Also, this has taken about a 3 year hiatus so if the "style" of writing is a lot different, I apologize. Anyway, hope whoever's reading this enjoys!!!!

3rd Person POV:

Satoshi looked around nervously, playfully hitting Yoshiki's shoulder with a forced laugh. He was trying to act cheerful although was holding back the stress and sadness he just had to endure because of that crazy dream. It all seemed so real. Although, he was glad that it wasn't. "I just had a weird.. dream, I guess.. Anyways, are you feeling better now? We should really get going." Satoshi spoke while holding Yoshiki's hand, his own was shaking.

The blond boy, confused, pulled the other in and wrapped his arms around him tightly. He didn't know how to comfort the other and was still rather puzzled as to why Satoshi was so extremely shaken up after having a seemingly calm nap. "I feel better, but do you?" Yoshiki said while trying to make his voice sound as soothing as possible, much different as to how he usually talks. "..I'm here, don't worry. We're going to get out of here together.. with everyone else too! I promise. I'll protect you."

Satoshi's shaking body was calming down a little more and he relaxed into Yoshiki's strong embrace. He didn't know how to reply right away, he was just relieved he was able to still have Yoshiki around. He probably wouldn't have been able to make it as far without him.

Yoshiki's POV:

I hugged him without really thinking, I guess I was just too in the moment and I wanted more than anything to make him feel better. I still don't know why he's so scared now, I mean we're in a haunted elementary school with rotting corpses everything but we've already kind of gotten used to that by now..

Satoshi's mood seemed to be better yet he still remained quiet. I felt confident in what I said but maybe he's still anxious? Whatever the case is, we should really get going now. This room feels a lot safer than the others out there but we still need to find everyone else.

"Thank you, Yoshiki. I don't know what I would do without you, really." Satoshi said as he got up from the floor and then helped me up as well. "You're a good friend." Ouch. I took his hand and we walked out of the classroom.

I know we're just friends but it still kind of hurts every time he says it, especially when I'm trying my best to convey that I want more. Maybe now isn't the best time to be confessing my undying love for him though, we clearly have other things to worry about. I squeeze his hand as we walk down the new hallways. They're different than the ones in the other building yet they still feel wrong. They're all dark and dirty and there seems to be debris everywhere.

It's quiet, other than the creaking floorboards beneath us and the rain outside, but then I start to feel the floor shake. First, it was subtle but with every second that passes by, it gets more extreme. "Hurry, get into that doorway!" I say and basically push Satoshi under as I follow. It might not help because everything seems so unstable but hey, earthquakes 101, right?

Satoshi's POV:

Yoshiki pushed me into the doorway of some random classroom, pretty harshly but I know it's only because he cares. "An earthquake? How long will it last?" I asked, knowing he has as much information as me but it was more of a complaint than anything.
