The rest of the week went by fast, work and home was all I did. Jeremy came by on Saturday. We just kept giving each other quick glances. Kassie went into the kitchen to make popcorn. I was about to get up when Jeremy stopped me. I looked at him with a look saying I want the truth. He said, "we need to talk." I told him I want the truth, all of it. "You'll know all of it, but not here;" he said. After that Kassie walked in with the popcorn. "What's up," she said. I turned to her and had a slight smile and said, "I was just asking Jeremy how was him and his parents hold up." Her face went sad and Jeremy said their all holding up pretty good. Kassie came to the couch and sat between us. I pushed play on the remote and we sat there quiet and staring at the tv. I kept thinking about what he said and everything else. I really wasn't into the movie, heck I didnt even know what it was called.
After the movie was over I told them I was going to turn in, with that I headed off to my room. I put on my night clothes, which was a long shirts and shorts. I got into my bed, when I turned over there was Jack. I jumped and let out a little squeal, I put my hand over my mouth and looked at him shocked and a little angery. I sat there on my bed, not moving or speaking. He finally came to the edge of my bed and sat down on the corner; at the foot of the bed. "I'll tell you everything," he said. I looked at him with surprise written across my face. "That's what I wanted all this time," I told him with a slight tone. He put his face in his hands and let out a big sigh. He then turned to me and said, "No, I'm not dead."
