You made it up to the end, my dear reader! YAY! :D
Thanks for reading! Now it's time for some notes upon the whole story which i'd like to pinpoint, just to avoid some possible questions.

1) The whole story is inspired by the following songs:

Videokids – Skyrider
Cake – The Distance
Мельница – St. Exupery Blues (this one is in Russian, excusez-moi s'il vous plait...)
Lines from these songs are frequently mentioned or just hinted throughout the text.

2) The planet of La Bamba is taken from another Videokids'song, La Bamba.

3) Lavender talking about ladies'names of ships is a hint to two songs by Мельница (Список кораблей and Любовь во время зимы), both are in Russian, sorry...

4) The name of Exupery is given after Antoine de St. Exupery; the story of his plane crash is also partly inspired by what happened with French cinnamon roll, but with more positive aftermath.

5) Skyrider's real name Montaigu sounds like "mont aigu" which means "sharp mountain", which is supposed to mirror the name of the place where he took Lavender.

6) Lavender talking about miraculous views from the mountains is a small hint to the episode "Beach City Drift" of Steven Universe series, where a similar line was said by Stevonnie (love those series by the way).

These are all major sources of inspiration for this story. Thanks for attention. :D
