Niall's Point of View
I sat with the guys and pretended nothing was wrong. I continued playing my guitar to keep my mind off of what Harry and Ada might be doing in the kitchen. If Liam wasn't here I probably would make a scene but I need him to like me if I'm going to get his sister. I'm really lucky they let me back in their group so quickly which meant I couldn't ruin our friendship again. If this little band thing we have going on is going to work I definitely have to be okay with Harry. I can't be okay with them together though; I can't sit back and let it happen.
"Niall, hey Niall!" Zayn elbowed me. I looked at him--I guess I was zoned out. "Do you want to hang out tomorrow? We're going to play some football." No, I really don't want to.
"Yeah, sure. I have work at one so if it's before that I'll be there."
"Yeah bro, it'll be around nine. And then we're hanging at Liam's tomorrow night--just the guys. You should come."
"Alright. I guess I can text you when I get off." We all exchanged numbers. Is this what it's like to have friends? Normal friends who actually care?
I heard laughter and the two love birds walked in with their hands full.
"Woah be careful." I said as Ada fell on top of me with Zayn's drink in her hand.
"I'm so sorry Zayn."
"It's okay Ada," he grabbed the drink from her, "you didn't spill it!" She was still laying across me and I helped her up. She looked back at Harry and he was talking with Oakley--most likely about Ada.
"How was work?"
"Oh, good. Some pretty cool people came in to record and I learned a little bit more about the sound board."
"That's great." Ada sat down on the floor beside me. What the hell is she doing?
"Shouldn't you be getting back to your boyfriend?" She rolled her eyes,
"He isn't my boyfriend...yet. We're just seeing each other."
"Oh, my bad. I didn't realize there was a huge difference."
"Stop being an ass. I came over here to talk to you."
"Why? So you can hurt me even more?"
"Excuse me?" She said louder than intended.
"Not now Ada."
"You're right." She began to stand up and I grabbed her wrist. I let go quickly knowing all of our friends are around. "I thought you said not now." I put my hands up to surrender. Damn she is fine.
Everyone was getting pretty wasted except for Ada and me. She obviously didn't have the best first experience and I wanted to be sober when I talked to her. Right now she was catering to Harry, making sure he was okay. She unfortunately looked happy doing it.
"Who wants to play some pong?" Liam yelled.
"Yes!" Sarah turned up some music and they created teams.
"I'm going to sit out since I'm not drinking. You guys will get mad if I win." Ada laughed and sat on a counter top watching.
"Come on play Ada! Niall needs a partner!" I guess Harry always paired up with Liam so he couldn't be with Ada even if she did play. He was getting pretty drunk so Liam's words didn't effect him. I looked at her waiting for her to give me some sort of sign that it was okay or not. She didn't 'course.
"Actually, I'm going to head out. See you guys in the morning?"
"Yeah!" All the guys yelled. Sarah jumped on me and gave me a bear hug. She's definitely the wildest girl I've ever met. I walked out of the door and pulled a cigarette out of my pocket. I never smoke, not cigarettes. They're so gross but sometimes I just feel like I need it. I lit it and then it fell to the ground.
