"Happy birthday," Sofia yelled while jumping on her sisters bed. The two sisters never made a big deal about their birthdays but with everything that has been going on, Sofia knew her sister deserved a day to herself. A day where she didn't have to worry about demons or saving anyone.
Sofia giggled, "Funny. I made breakfast and I have your present. Come on, I still have school." The two sisters got ready for the day before eating breakfast while talking about Noelle's birthday party later in the evening.
It was tradition that they had a birthday party and invited all their family and friends. Sofia had made sure to tease Noelle about Chris and told her she had invited him to the party. She knew how much he already meant to her sister.
"Here's your present," Sofia stated while handing her a small box. Noelle stared at the box before slowly opening it. She gasped in shock when she saw what was inside the box. It was a stunning purple crystal on a gold chain. Noelle knew why Sofia had gotten it for her, it belonged to their mother. It was one of the few things that their mother treasured more than anything.

"Where did you find it?" Noelle's hands were still shaking while holding the crystal. She couldn't stop the tears from rolling down her cheeks. The crystal had once belonged to their mother but was shortly after she died. Neither sister had anything left of their mother. The crystal was forged with powerful magic and belonged in the family. The crystal was usually passed down to oldest daughter of every generation.
Sofia grinned at her older sister, "I had a bit of help from grandma and Chris. I wanted you to have something that would remind you of how strong you were and that mum would always be proud of you. That I would always be proud of you. So I summoned grandma and asked her where she saw it last then I got Chris to help me with a spell that would locate it for me. I wanted you to have a birthday you would remember, especially with everything that has been going on. I love you."
"I love you too, kiddo." Noelle moved to hug her little sister. She had always been grateful for having her around and was glad that she always stood by her. Sofia looked up to her sister and had always wanted to be as strong and courageous as her sister.

Hours later the two sister has welcomed the last of the guests into their apartment. The party was in full swing. People dancing, talking and having a good time. It had been a while since Noelle had felt so happy and she was glad she was able to share that with the people closest to her. At some point during the party, Chris had pulled her aside, to the balcony through her bedroom.
"Happy birthday," he grinned before placing his lips on hers. The two had gotten closer over the past few days and gotten to know each other a lot more. Neither had wanted to label the relationship just yet but they both really liked each other and wanted to be more. One thing they both realised is that they enjoyed kissing each other.
When they pulled away, Noelle was grinning, "Thank you." The Halliwell boy handed her, her present. For the second time that day, she cried. She tried to hide tears but they keep falling. When she had opened the present, she saw a beautiful necklace that had a moon and a blue beautiful crystal next to the moon on a sliver chain.

"It's beautiful. Thank you." Chris removed the necklace from the box and clasped the necklace around her neck. He hugged her from behind and they both stayed in each other's embrace for a while.
"Be my girlfriend?" Chris had realised that he wanted to make Noelle his. He absolutely adored the young witch and ever since he had meet her, he couldn't think straight.
"Thought you would never ask. Of course," Noelle leaned further into his embrace.
Soon they both heard yelling and screaming coming from the living room. They both ran towards the noise and froze. A demon was holding Sofia while everyone were ready to attack but due to Sofia being so close to the demon no one could risk doing anything.
Noelle glared at the demon, "What do you want?"
The demon snickered, "No need to get angry child. I'm here to warn you. The Traid says you have two weeks to decide to come to them willingly or people you care about start dying. Starting with your darling little sister."
