Clementine

A room consumed by nothing but darkness was around me. I could hear my own breathing, my heart beating out of its chest. My mouth covered with what I assumed was tape, I attempted to move my arms and legs however to my dismay, they were bound with some sort of rope. I mumbled as loud as I could and then suddenly the lights switched on. My eyes were blinded by the sudden change, I squinted in response. It was an empty room with grey walls, in the distance I could see a table with some sort of tools on it. My eyes widened.

What is going to happen to me?

Suddenly the sound of a creaky metal door came from behind me, causing my body to automatically tense up. The person stood right behind me for a moment and placed their hand on my shoulder before chuckling lightly. My blood ran cold and shivers went down my spine. I recognised that laugh. The person finally revealed them self to me, standing directly in front of me.

Rick stood there smirking.

"Hey Clem." He said so casually it made my blood boil. I glared at him and mumbled something, still unable to speak considering the fact that I had tape over my mouth.

"What was that? I can't seem to understand you, you seem to have something over your mouth there." He said before approaching me slowly and ripping the tape harshly from my mouth, I winced in pain.

"Don't call me that. You don't have the right." I said through gritted teeth.

"Oh don't be like that Clementine. You did this to yourself. Plus you are technically family to me right?"

"What the fuck are you talking about you psycho?" I rolled my eyes.

"Oh gosh, she's forgotten about her own boyfriend." He said and my eyes widened.

"What have you done to him?!" I yelled gaining a hard smack against my cheek.

"I haven't done a thing, he is my son of course. And he's here if that's what you're wondering but he's receiving special attention right now." Rick smiled.

"I swear to God if you-"

"SHUT UP! Shut up. He is not important right now. What is more important is that you have the cure along with many of the other people I have hear. You just have to have your assessments." He said and I raised my eyebrow questioningly.

"What do you mean other people? What is this place?" I asked him but he just smirked.

"I must go now Clem. You will be released shortly. You're just lucky I care about you, the others had to wait much longer."

"You're psychotic." I snarled but he just patted me on the head before exiting the room whilst whistling an eerie melody. The door slammed shut and I sat there for what felt like hours on end. Until the door opened once again and multiple footsteps followed. The figures appeared in front of me, Molly and Ellie. My eyes widened.

"Molly, Ellie?! Holy shit, I thought you guys were- Wait... Are you one of them? Oh god."

"Calm down, we're like you. We can't get infected either. But we can't talk here, these rooms are monitored." Molly informed me and I stared at her with nothing but confusion. Ellie smiled at me before undoing my restraints. I thanked her.

"This is insane." I shook my head.

"You don't know the half of it kiddo."
