"Jesus christ Clem! Slow down!" Carl yelled at me as I drifted around a sharp turn.

"Well I'm sorry but we have other things to worry about other than driving safely! There's a fucking herd of walkers not far and we're being hunted by your psycho dad!" I gasped as I realised the words that just escaped from my lips. I glanced at Carl to his jaw tensed and his hands balled in fists. His grip was so intense that it caused his tender knuckles to turn white.

"I-I'm sorry..." I stammered and bit my lip.

But he didn't respond with words, he just shrugged and turned his back to me so he was now staring out of the window. I heard Ellie awkwardly cough in the back to attempt to break the silence. I noticed that we were approaching a motel so I headed straight for it. Once we arrived I stopped the truck and leant back in my seat.

"Want me to  check it out?" I asked Carl but he didn't reply, he just continued staring out of the window.

I sighed and unbuckled my seat belt before opening the door and exiting the truck. I took at my knife along with my pistol and approached the gate of the motel. A padlock caught the light and my attention. Locked. I stood back and examined the surrounding fences.

"I guess I could climb over." I suggested.

"Clem, you know how I feel about us being split up." Said Carl as he stepped out of the truck and crossed his arms.

"Barf." Said Ellie causing Carl to glare at her.

"Look all I have to do is climb over, then unlock it from the inside then done. We're together again."

"But- Why don't you just-"

"Carl if you're going to suggest that I shoot the lock off, I can't because it's on the inside and the gaps are too small to reach in. And if I do shoot it will make too much noise!"

Carl just sighed in response and I rolled my eyes.

I hoisted myself up on to the fence and climbed over, making sure I avoided the spikes. I overlooked the area and jumped down quickly.

"Ow!"

"Are you okay?!" Asked Carl.

"I'm fine, just stepped on something sharp." I said as I lifted my foot off whatever the sharp object was. As I removed my foot I realised what I had stepped on... A bone.

"Um Carl?..." I said slightly alarmed.

"What?!"

"I-I stepped on a bone."

"A bone?!"

"Ye-"

Suddenly I was cut off by the creak of a door from behind me. I turned around to see a few walkers making the way out of the door and toward me.

"Clementine get out of there!"

I looked at the fence to see that it was covered in spikes.

"That's going to be a problem." I said as I held my gun up and focuses on the walkers.

"That's it we're coming in!" Carl said and him and Ellie quickly climbed over the fence to accompany me.

"Okay, let's do this crap!" Said Ellie as she got out her bow and aimed for a walkers head.

Another door suddenly opened and more walkers came pouring in to the parking lot. We all turned around and another door opened, letting the even more walkers in. Making our situation much worse.

"Shit!" Shouted Carl as he ran towards one group and began trying to take them down.

"We locked ourselves in a freaking walker nest!" Yelled Ellie as she began shooting arrows at walkers.

I was still stood there, taking in my surroundings. Something didn't feel right. This felt like a trap.

I noticed a red light coming through one of the windows. I squinted and tried to work out what the person looked like. Suddenly a window opened and something came out of it. It was swirling through the air and red smoke was coming out of it.

"CARL-" I screamed.

But I was too late, the grenade exploded and suddenly shooting started going off making my ears ring. I was on the floor and coughing uncontrollably. I tried to call for Carl but I was in shock. All I could hear was the high pitched ringing.

Carl came in to my view. He was screaming at me but I couldn't understand him. He took out his gun and shot at something. All I could see was the flashing of red lights and smoke. Then suddenly Carl was tackled to the ground by a person dressed in some sort of all black gear. I couldn't move.

The person then bent down to me. They were trying to speak to me but I still couldn't hear anything. The person then took off their mask to reveal it was Molly. She smiled at me but it was as if she was sorry about something. Then I felt a sharp pain in my arm and before I knew it, I was surrounded by darkness again...
