-14.Is it him or me?-

The person evaded the area and I dropped to the ground, crying and screaming in pain. I watched as the blood flowed from my arm and suddenly everything became dark.

I sat in the chair which was placed next to the hospital bed which contained an unconscious Elena with bandages wrapped around her frail arms. I could see from the bruises on her arm that she had been attacked by someone. Who could it have been and why?
"I brought you a coffee. I didn't know who to call and your number is number 1 on speed dial, I thought that it would be her boyfriend to be on it but I guess not. Im so sorry that this happened to her, i should've walked her home or ensured that she arrived safely" Hansol sobbed as he stared at Elena.

"Its okay, at least you found her before it was too late. Thank goodness you contacted me, how do you know Elena anyways?" I responded, I am rather grateful for what he did and im quite touched that I am first on the speed dial.

"Elena is someone who works with me at my dads restaurant, Lucky Noodle. We are quite close, she is being my fake girlfriend in front of this crazy woman who wants me and yourself" Hansol explained whilst smiling in admiration, he seems like a good guy. Its unbelievable that he is older than me by a few months, he seems like a child compared to me.

I sipped the coffee before responding to Hansol,"I've known Elena for a long time. We've known each other for as long as I can remember. Our families are super close and have been close since high school. She is someone very special to me, I value her a lot, probably more than anyone here." I explained.

Hansol just nodded his head in understanding and sat peacefully. We just sat there waiting for Elena to regain consciousness. I felt a little sleepy after drinking coffee even though it's supposed to keep you awake.

I finished work quite late but the thing that's been bothering me is the way that I spoke to Elena. I shouldn't have gone too far by calling her my ex, I need to learn to let people explain before I jump to conclusions. It's midnight and I'm outside the door but it doesn't seem like anyone's home. I go in and notice that Elena isn't home and hasn't been home, I know she finished over an hour ago but where is she?

I decided to give her a call but it went straight to voicemail, I began thinking in between the rings that she could have slept at her friend's house after I went too far and broke up with her. The call was picked up this time but it wasn't Elena speaking. It was a guy and the voice sounds familiar but I just can't put the voice to the name and face.

Convo:

??: Yeoboseyo? Who is this? (Formal)

Me: Who is this? Why are you answering Elena's phone, I'm her boyfriend and need to talk to her. (informal)

??: (Informal) Well some boyfriend you are, how can you not know that your girlfriend got attacked and is in hospital. Why aren't you even on her speed dial? tsch

me: Mwo?! Which hospital?

??: It's Taemin Cancer Research Hospital, I'll be waiting out front, It's me Hansol from earlier on btw

As of then, he hung up and I ran down to the streets to try and catch a cab or something but none were coming so I just started running for 20 minutes straight until I reached the hospital and was greeted by the rude girl friend snatching jerk,Hansol.
