*It's been five hours since Stephie ran away and I am still here. I have no chance of getting away without him noticing. I could use the window... but it's too high. I opened the door and checked if he was there again, luckily he wasn't! I left the room quickly and was standing at the door with my hand on the handle when I heard his voice*

J: Tini?

*I was so close. So close to leaving peacefully.*

M: Uhm, hi

J: What are you doing here?

M: Well, I came to visit you and the door was open so I-

J: Open?

M: ...yes. What is wrong with you today? You seem very distracted

J: No, nothing. I am surprised to see you here

*An obvious fake smile appeared on his face as he came over and hugged me.*

J: Aren't you supposed to be at work?

M: You don't want me here? Okay, I will leave then

J: No no no. Come in and have a seat

*I went to the living room and sat on the couch.*

M: What happened to the lights?

*I asked with a pretended interest*

J: Uh, Ruggero did stupid things and hit it with something

M: Uhm... you had a party here?

J: What?

*He turned at me and noticed the glasses with alcohol.*

J: Yeah. We had a fun night with the guys.

*If only he knew what I know. Before he sat down, my phone rang*

M: Hello?

*It was Mechi. She was worried but not as stressed as always*

Me: Morning! Where are you my dear?

M: I'm at Jorge's house. But I will be at work in a few minutes I-

Me: Calm down. Take your time. Stephie won't come today. She called me and I'm your superior today

M: She won't come?

Me: Nope

M: Alright, see you soon!

Me: Bye!

*I stood up and headed to the door but Jorge stopped me*

J: Why so early?

M: I really gotta go now. I just came to see you. You have any news?

J: No. No news

*No news, right. I will show you.*

M: Okay, see you then

*I kissed his cheek quickly, then left.*
