(This story is in Frisk's POV as a female)

I said goodbye to Toriel, tears in her eyes and mine. I honestly didn't want to go out there into god knows what, but I knew I had to. Toriel took one last look at me before walking back upstairs. I placed my hands on the door, which was cool to the touch. I gave it a gentle push and the door didn't move. I gave a sharp sigh and pressed my weight against the door. The door gave out way to easily under my weight and swung open, making me fall face first into a snow pile. "Nngh.." I pushed myself up, my hands already numb from the freezing snow. "Gr-Great.." I pulled myself into a standing position, brushing the snow off my clothes, shivering as the snow blew through my sweater. "G-God," I stammered. "I-It's freezing.."

"Doesn't help that you're sweater is covered with snow now does it..?" a voice said. I jumped and looked around. "No need to be afraid, kid, I'm practically harmless." I hugged my chest tightly. I looked up all the way to see a short(ish) skeleton walk close, a blue jacket flapping gently against the wind. "Boy its pretty windy out here isn't it?" I managed to nod and the skeleton held out his hand. "Don't you know how to greet a new pal..? C'mon, shake my hand.."

I hesitantly held out my own hand, gently taking hold of his. PBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBT!!! The skeleton snorted at the sound of the whoopee cushion,  making me giggle a little. "Heheh.. Never gets old." That's when he really saw that I was freezing and his smile faded a little. "Here.." he took his jacket off and walked over behind me, resting it on my shoulders. I looked back at him, with a small smile, which he returned gently. "Hey.. How about we hit by Grillby's? I'm sure you must be a bit hungry. I nodded softly, still shivering a bit.

"Sure... That sounds nice..."
