Chapter 16

Maggie POV:
I woke up and looked around the room. Blare was sleeping next to me and the boys were still probably down stairs. I stood up to go make breakfast but I suddenly felt sick. I headed towards the bathroom and immediately pucked.
I felt a bit better and went down the stairs. As soon as I started slowly walking step by step everything started to get blurry and dark in front of my eyes.
Nathan POV:
*sounds of something falling *
I heard a loud noise and woke up looking around. Then suddenly I saw Maggie lying at the bottom of the stairs.
I quickly stood up and ran to her.
-"Maggie " I shouted
She didn't answer
-"Megs" I continued
She still didn't answer
-" Nathan what happened?" Simon who just woke up asked
-"call 911"
-"they are on their way." Simon said and helped me pick Meg up.
We placed her on the couch.
Soon the ambulance came.
*in the hospital *
Me, Simon and blare awaited for the doctor.
-"mr.Triska?" Dr.Kydd said
-"yes it's me." I said as I stood up and walked towards him
-"as I know your the one who is closest to Ms.Butler." Dr.kydd said
-"yes..is she ok?" I asked
-"well Maggie is diagnosed with ectopic pregnancy." Said Dr.kydd
-"will she be alright?" I asked
-"right now she is having a difficult surgery.And because of that in the future the possibility of having kids for her is nearly impossible. I'm really sorry." Dr.kydd said
My eyes started to water.
-"thank you. When will I be able to see her." I asked
-"not right now. As I said she's having a difficult operation, so I will inform you your visiting time in an hour." Dr. Kydd said and walked off
I could not believe what just happened. I went back to Simon and Blare.
-"what did he say?" Blare asked
-"right now Maggie is having a surgery because of ectopic pregnancy." I answered through tears
-"shit..." Blare said as she started crying
-"Nathan do you know what that means?" Blare said
-"that she won't be able to have kids." I tried saying
-"that was Maggie's second biggest dream after meeting Nathan Triska. It was to someday start a family and have kids of her own." Blare said
And at that moment I realized that I have broken Maggie's dreams.
