Happy new year

Christmas was over and the day of sylvester got closer. "What do you want to do at sylvester? " Shane asked Charlotte. "I would love to see my family and of course Nico, Maria, Kian and Mark."
"We could make a party here. I will ask them." "That would be great if they all could come. I miss my parents and sister." Since Charlotte was in Sligo she meet her parents and her sister Emely only every second weekend. "I will do all to see you happy.", Shane said and kissed her softly.
After a few calls he smiled and said. "Charlotte your parents and sister will come and Nico, Maria, Kian and Mark too." "You are the best man in the world.  Cannot wait to be your wife." " I cannot wait to call you my wife. We should marry next summer after the tour. What do you think?", Shane asked. "That would be wonderful Shaney." "Now let's plan our sylvester party. We need something to eat for nine persons plus Toby.", he laughed. "Yes, I hope Toby is not scared about the firework.", Charlotte said. "We should ask the animal doctor what we can do, but I'm sure he will be ok."
At sylvester morning Shane and Charlotte decorated the room for the party. They made fingerfood for midnight and barbecue for the dinner. "It looks great Charlotte. ", Shane said. The phone peeped.  It was a message from Charlottes sister Emely.
Can I bring my best friend Sarah with me. She is alone tonight.  Charlotte answered. No problem,  we have enough for 10 persons.
"Emely will bring Sarah with her. Her best friend.", Charlotte said. "That's great. Your sister is single, Kian and Mark are single. Maybe we could arrange something. ", he smiled. "Oh, that's a good idea.  Emely needs a man.", Charlotte smiled back.  Her sister was one year younger than Charlotte.
At 5pm the first guests came. Kian and Mark. "Hey guys,  come in.", Shane said and hugged his friends. "To bad that we are alone tonight. ", Kian said. "Oh, maybe you can change it. My sister Emely and her friend Sarah will come.  Both are singles.", Charlotte said and hugged the two to welcome them. "Sounds good. ", Mark said. The next guests were Nico and Maria. "Hi Nico,  hi Maria. ", Charlotte said and hugged both. "Come in guys.Kian and Mark are in the living room.", Shane said. At 5.30pm they were complete.  Charlottes parents Paul and Catherine,  her sister Emely and Sarah came. "Mom, Dad come in.", she hugged both. Then Emely and Sarah. Charlotte introduced them with the guys and Maria. "Mum,  Dad, that's Kian and Mark. You know Nico and of course Maria. Guys, my parents Paul and Catherine my sister Emely and her friend Sarah. Girls you know the guys. Guys you should know both are Westlife fans." They shaked the hands from each other. Toby was in his basket and looked at the new faces. "Oh, I will not forget Toby. Guys, that's Toby. We told you from him." All guests looked at the little dog and made some "Aawww" and "Oohhhh." Kian had an eye on Emely and Mark watched Sarah. "Look at Kian, Shane. He is looking to my sister since she is here.", Charlotte whispered. "And Mark is watching Sarah.", Shane smiled. They ate together and had a good time. Kian and Emely had a talk and danced and Mark and Sarah had a talk and danced. Five minutes before midnight Toby was in his basket sleeping so all could go out in the garden. Shane made a firework. It was beautiful. "Happy new year Charlotte." "Happy new year Shane.", they kissed each other. Paul kissed Catherine and Nico Maria. Kian stood in front of Emely. Happy new year Charlotte. " " Happy new year Kian. Look at them Kian. They are all kissing and we are only staring to the sky." "We could change it.", Kian smiled and kissed her quickly. She was surprised about Kian. "Wow, can you repeat it." Kian smiled and kissed her again.  But this time it was a long kiss and she kissed him back.
At the same time Mark and Sarah stood together and wished each other a happy new year. "Sarah, I want to kiss you now.", Mark said. "Then do it.", Sarah smiled. Mark kissed her softly.  Sarah liked it and kissed him back. While Kian and Mark were kissing the girls the others stood there and looked at them. "Happy new year.", Charlotte screamed. Then they stopped kissing and looked up. "Happy new year." Kian said. Then all wished each other a happy new year. "So we should drink champagne now."Charlotte said. Shane filled the glasses. The glasses clinked and all went back inside. Toby was still sleeping. "Happy new year Toby.", Charlotte whispered while stroking him. The party went on and all couples were dancing till late in the night.
