Noodles And Newbies

sOnce im done with the ramen noodles I put in some spices that will make the ramen ten times better! I learned how to make them in college! I walk out to the stairs and talk to cry. "Hey, how does buta novi sound?" i ask with a smirk. "what's that?" he asked confused tilting his head 'cuuuutteeee' I bite my lip and sit down next to him on the wooden step. "Its ramen noodles with weird spices." I say handing him a bowl of the noodles and a fork. He raises his mask showing his mouth. He flashes me a warm smile and takes a bite of the noodles. I wait for some sign that he liked them, I had to work with what i had they didn't have all the spices you would normally use. He swallows them and smiles at me "Do you like them?" I asked hopefully, He nods "These are the best noodles i've ever had! Where did you learn to make these?" He asked stuffing his face with a nother face full of noodles. "Well before this whole 'zombie apocalypse' happened I had just graduated college with a major in culinary arts!" I answer with a proud smile.I take a bite of the noodles and listen to him "Oh well these are great!" he gushed filling his mouth with more noodles. I blush happily "Well im glad you like them!" I say proudly.

I sit my bowl behind me "I gotta say I'm full." i say patting my bellie "Mhm" he agrees nodding. I take his bowl from him and pick up my bowl. I start walking to put the bowls up and I hear a thud up stairs. I sit the bowls down on a near by table and go up stairs with my hand on my knife. I stomp and hear a nother thud two rooms ahead of me. I quietly come towards the door and I open it and run in the room see the zombie immediately, I kick the zombie's knew while it tried to grab my hand. When i falls to the ground I lean down and stab the back of its head. I let out a breathe of relief and get back up 'Glad thats over and done with' I think to myself. I wipe my knife off with a near by towel and the ground "nice and shiny" I say to my self in the dark room. 'your talking to yourself again alpha' I think and shake my head while walking down stairs. I walk back outside to fine a sleeping cry. "awww" I coo at him, him sleeping is cute. I run back inside, grab a blanket, and run back outside. i sit next to the sleeping cry and cover him with the bright blue covers. I smile and think "Ill keep watch while you sleep cry so don't worry' I look out to the yard and then up to the night sky 'I can barley believe we're only 3 days into the apacolypse,it feels like its been weeks! I was alone and now im not, I was weak and now im not, I have changed in the best way possible' I smile to myself and look back to the yard. I look to cry 'for some reason cry, I feel like i showed thank you for helping me change in to something a little bit better my friend.' I thought and looked away to start watch and wait for cry to wake up.

CRY'S POV!
My eyes open and burn to the now high up sun. "ummr" someone mutters next to me. "oh" I say looking over to find alpha sleeping on the step next to me. I look down to find a bright blue blanket on me, I pick it up and cover Alpha with it. 'Oh no' I thought as i see the bloody knife in her hand. my eyes dart all over her to look for any cuts or blood. I only found a smear on her cheek so I look around for a source that may have been the problem. I sigh, relieved to see that there were seven dead walkers in the yard. 'thanks for keeping watch, Alpha' I think to my self at the cute and peacefully sleeping woman next to me, I take the knife from her hands. 'My turn' I take watch while she sleeps. About 7 hours into keeping watch I got ally thirsty so I walk in the house for the first time sense we found it. I start looking for her backpack in the kitchen till I see it on the counter.I start digging threw and noticed two stuffed animals,a elephant and a panda 'cute' I think to myself and put them back i pull out a half full water bottle and take a sip.'Refressssshhhhhheeeddd' i thought to myself and walked out side."hey your awake!" I chirped cheerfully. She give me a little smile and a weak wave "Hiiiii~" she sleepily said with her eyes half open. I smile under my mask 'shes adorable when shes sleepy' My mind chirped. Then mad ruined it with 'aww cry has a little crush'  I blush under the mask thank God I have it out or she would see me. 'Shut up mad, You get no say in this.' I snap at my alter ego. I look down at Alpha she looks confused and she keeps sniffing around. I tilt my head trying to understand what shes doing..."What smells so good?" she asked still smelling around, then she grabs the blanket and sniffs it "Oh.." I hear her mutter something else. She stands up, grabs the sleeve of my hoodie and sniffs it lightly and drops it "that's weird she says looking at me. My face heats up "W-what?" I stutter to her, She gives me a bigger smile "the good smell is you." she giggles sleepily. My jaw drops and I freeze, she walks past me and soon as shes out of site I smell my hoodie "wut?" I mutter 'Well im never gonna forget that...' I tell myself. Alpha walks next to me with her backpack on and she tugs on my hoodie "Well lets gooooo!" she tugs again and we start walking "were are we going?" I asked still confused... "We're almost out of supplies! we have maybe three days worth and thats it!" she said worried. "Oh...." We walk to the road and see a few scattered walkers. I stick my and in front of her and bend down "Walkers" I whispered she bent down next to me and said "so thats what you call them?" I nod "what do you call them" I ask quickly "Zombies" she said with amusement. "Thats such a dork thing to call them but ok their now zombies" I say to her as i hold my knife in hand and run towards one of the closer zombies and I stab it in the back of the head, dogeing the dark blood that came out. I look to Alpha as she trips a zombie and stabs one behind her in the head quickly bending do to the zombie she tripped and stabbing it to. "phew Alright cry lets get walking" she said flashing me a smile.
