The Mixup

Alpha's Pov
"Hey cry?" I look over at him waiting for him to respond.
"Yea?" he answers keeping his eye forward...at least i think so his mask doesn't help much.
"How do you cop with killing them?You know, the zombies..." I ask hoping he would have a better way then me.
"I don't. I don't know how to.If i had a copping mechanism I think this whole thing would be a whole lot easier...." He explains with sorrow in his voice.
"Oh..Do you w-wanna know my copping mechanism?" I say stuttering scared that if I do tell him he would turn me away and hate me.
He nods and I take a deep breathe "I have a point system I pretend i'm playing a game and im trying to upgrade my character to the top level..." I look to him hoping he understands. I walk next to him watching his movement hoping for some reaction.
"Then what does that make me?" he says his voice deeper than before. I jump in front of him "You are not a part of the game... only the zombies really are! If you dare think that anything other than that trick is a lie stop it right now...I consider you my friend its ok if you don't think the same but thats what I think OK? no tricks not a game..." I look into the eyes of his mask and put my hand on his shoulder "You are important to me." I state seriously.I drop my hand from his shoulder turn around and start walking but he grabs my wrist and turns me around. "Thank you..." He says pulling me into a hug. Shocked I stand still until I hug him back "W-we s-should move ahead c-cry.." I stutter at how close we are. He titans his  grip on me and lets go "Yea, your right" he says and starts walking. I walk up next to him my face still warm from the hug. 'We were so close' my mind looks back on it 'ACT YOUR AGE YOUR ACTING LIKE 1ST  GRADER THAT TOUGHED HANDS WITH A BOY FOR THE FIRST TIME!' my mind screams. I shake my head and almost start a fight with myself until Cry taps my shoulder. "hm?" i mutter giving him my attention. He points to a target down the road "wow that has to have something good in it!" I say hopefully he nods "maybe it will have a puppy!" he jokes I giggle "maybe" I joke back."cry, you have something to fight with right?" I asked worried that he may get in trouble.
"Yea, I'll be fine Alpha!" he says with care in his voice
"OOoookkkkkkaayyy if you say so...." I say the worry still in my head and in my voice
We walk in the target to find a hill of dead zombies "C-cry? What happen here?" I say not believing my eyes
"I don't know It looks like someone came threw here and cleared it out" He said amazed and confused scratching the back of his neck.
"lets just start looking for supplies?" he nods agreeing to get away from the horrible smelling zombie pile.
We walk threw the target and stuff anything useful into or bags, at least until we see someone with a long sword-like weapon and 4 knifes held in her other hand.
"cry...look" I say tugging on his hoodie while stairing at the woman, she looked at least 21 and had black jeans with a white blood stained blouse, she also had long wavy dirty blonde hair she looks me dead in the eyes and throws a knife right next to my head. I freeze scared out of my mind. Cry takes action and says
"hey! we're human friend!" with anger in his voice and trys to step towards her, but she points a knife at his head.
"ALRIGHT MASKY YOU NEED TO BACK UP" she said suddenly mad "I don't take well to flirts!" she threatens.
I run in front of him and stick out my hand "that's his normal voice!" she looks at me in disbelief and lowers her knife.
"See watch!" I look to cry "say something to me!" I whisper "Hi friend!" he says his voice shaking slightly.
I look to her begging with my eyes for her to believe us. She puts away her knifes "Ok, i'll believe you but if his voice even goes even slightly higher I won't be so nice..." I nod and return to cry's side. She looks at us and smiles "well i'm morgan! It's nice to meet you both!" she says her voice covered in suger.I look at cry and look back at her. I clear my voice "Um i'm Alpha and this is cry..." I motion towards him. She nods "Well come with me Alpha I found something I think that you will like!" she glares at cry "you stay there..." she basically growls at him. I look towards cry hoping he'll tell me somehow what to do, but all he does is nod so I walk with the new person that olddly scares the h*ll out of me... "S-so were are we going?" I ask as we wak farther and farther away from my friend...
"I found a massive supply of all kinds of things and in the staff room there's a medkit!" She says happily doing a little clap with the top of her hands.
I gasp "That sounds amazing!" I say excitedly I bounce as we walk.I pat the sides of my face "Maybe I can replace this hoodie and get more clothes" I motion to my blood stained clothing. She nods "you know I think that we will be good friends, Alpha!" she smiles brightly wich confuses me 'does this girl have major mood swings?' I ask myself. "look Alpha, I just haven't had a good history with flirts so when i thought tha guy was flirting it just flipped a switch in me...now I have a deep anger in my chest towards him, I now understand he wasn't being a flirt and he just has a deep creamy voice but the anguurrrrrr." she growls at the thought. "Yea, uh ok that's fine...." I say trying to understand but recognizing my defeat. "We're here!' she says opening a door. I scweel "Cry is gonna love this!" I chirp....
