6 more days until Hayes would come back from NC. 

And its Valentine's day while I'm spending it alone, at school, watching all my friends being showered with gifts and kisses from their boyfriends. 

Walking down the halls, different shades of pinks and reds was all I saw. And then there's me, being a sad lonely bitch and wearing a grey Vans t-shirt, black jeans with rips at the knees, and my black and white checkered vans. Sucks being alone on V day.

"Hey y/n, you don't look too happy. Whats wrong babe?" My best friend asked as her boyfriend walked along next to her.

"Oh you know, just missing Hayes. Kinda wish we could spend Valentine's Day together." I said calmly like I didn't care. I really did though.

"Aw y/n, don't simp-"

"Be a pimp." Her boyfriend interrupted her.

I playfully rolled my eyes. They were only trying to make me feel better. "Thanks guys but I gotta get to class, see you guys later." I said waving and walking away.

I was walking to my car when I got a text.

From hayes,

Hey baby, so sorry we couldn't spend Valentine's together. Just know that I love and miss you and can't wait to see you soon.

Hm, that text seems a little too short, especially for Valentine's day. Now I was more peeved than I already was. Wow, feelin the love. I huffed and opened my car door and drove home.

I walked in and realized no one else was home. Then I remembered my parents had left about an hour ago to spend the after noon and evening together. Damn, even my parents are getting it and I'm sitting her alone. I know, I'm being dramatic but I haven't seen Hayes in 3 months and that's too long for me.

I grabbed a cutie and quickly peeled and ate it. I then made my way up to my room to start homework. On my way I stopped in the bathroom to do my business. I washed up and opened the door to my room.

"Boo." Someone said.

I screamed and turned around, only to be face to face with broad shoulders because of my height. I looked up and..... smiled.

"Hayes!" I jumped and hugged him, taking in the scent that I missed. 

"Hey babe. Told you I'd see you soon." He laughed. I giggled and brought his lips to mine. Oh how I've missed his touch.

I was put down and he pulled his hand from his back and gave me roses, a stuffed dog holding a box of chocolates, and a PINK shopping bag.

"Y/n, I just wanted to say that these past months with you have been the best and I cherish every moment I have with you. You are a blessing in my life and I'm so lucky to be in your presence. You continue to make me happy and make me a better person and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us. I love you.

"Hayes, I love you too. I'm so lucky to have you." I said pulling him in for another hug and passionate kiss.

"Oh! Here I got you something too." I said grabbing a pacsun bag. I got him a shirt, baseball cap, candy, and a phone case since he desperately needs one of those. 

"Baby you didn't have to." he said smiling and hugging me.

"You're right, I didn't but I wanted to because I love you deserve this and everything more." I replied.

"Happy Valentine's Day baby." He said.

"Happy Valentine's Day." I smiled and realized how lucky I was to have someone like him.

AYEEEE. I finally updated! Ive been so busy my life literally consists of school and softball. Ive had like no time to write but hopefully I will soon. Thanks again guys for all the reads and votes! Love y'all.
