Full Moon

The bell chimes in the distance signaling the end of the first half of the day and the beginning of lunch. I look out the window next to me and look at the students pouring out of the building heading to the huge dining hall. I look to the sky and see a huge beautiful full moon looking back at me. I can feel her power pulling at me.

"Hey Itachi you coming to lunch with us?" Kato and Ayano stood there looking at me with bentos in hand.

"Oh yeah, sorry." I push my seat back. "Where should we eat?" I ask standing.

Kato and Ayano start discussing the different options when I see that strange girl again. She sees me and waves at me. I groan as she comes over to us.

"Hey Makato. Can I eat lunch with you?" She asks ignoring my friends. She holds a little pink bento box with matching chop sticks.

Ayano turns and looks at her. "Who are you?" She asks with dislike in her eyes. Aika looks at her back with the same dislike.

I interrupt their stair down and clear my throat. "Kato, Ayano, this is Hayashi Aika."

Kato looks at her and smiles. "Oh you're the girl Itachi ran into this morning. Hi I'm Kato Nomataki." Aika smiles at him then looks back at Ayano.

Ayano huffs and walks out of the classroom. I turn to Kato, "Whats wrong with her?" Kato shrugs and follows after her. I shake my head and follow after the two with Aika on my heels.

We head down to the dining hall so I can buy my lunch while they find a table. I stand in line behind a white haired girl. She walks up and drops her money and grabs a sandwich and turns to look at me before she walks away. Her white hair cascades behind her like the moon's bright beams. She gives me a side glance with piercing moss green eyes. I blush as she walks by.

"Next! Next!" I jump and turn to the lunch lady.

"Sorry ma'am." I hand her my money and grab a sandwich. I turn to get one more glance at the girl but she was gone. I walk to the table where my friends sat and talked. I sat down looking confused as I open my sandwich and take a bite.

"You good man?" Kato asks smacking me on the back. "You look like you just saw a ghost."

I swallow my bite as I nod slowly. "Yeah. I'm good." I continue to eat as the group goes back to their chatter. Aika keeps trying to talk to Ayano who keeps ignoring her. I'm so lost in thought about the girl I didn't even hear the bell.

"Itachi, you coming?" Ayano asks as she stands.

"Hmm? Oh yeah I'm right behind you." I stand and walk to the trash to throw away a half eaten sandwich.

We all walk together to the training grounds so we can change into our magick gear. Kato and I wave off Aika and Ayano as they head toward the girls changing room. Kato and I head into the boys and begin to change and get ready. I put on the Makato family magick robe and grab my staff and head out of the dressing room onto the magick field. I look around and see the new girl Samantha Evergreen. I walk over to her to introduce myself.

"Hello Ms. Evergreen, I am Makato Itachi. I am the class representative. If you have any questions feel free to ask me." I give her a warm smile.

She stands there her arms crossed holding up her huge chest. She is wearing a tight body suit that hugs her slender figure. Her blond curls are pulled up into a simple pony tail. She cast her blue eyes on me and looks at me like I am an insect.

"Call me Sam." She says in that thick British accent.

"As you wish Sam, you can call me Itachi." I smile. "So what type of magick do you use?" I ask.
