Chapter 4

Johnny POV~

I'm stunned, another competition!
With real money I could bail my dad out of jail!

"No competition needed, I'm already the most talented." Mike bosted

I rolled my eyes,"look Short Stock we've all got a chance to win this,not just you "

I look at Ash ,she smiles and stomach feels a weird tingle .

"Look daddy's boy -"

"No you look Snow ball-"

"Australian Dude -"

"Tiny Tim-"

"Tea Time-"

"That doesn't even make sense-?-"

"King Kong!"

"Hey that's my grandfather!"

"ENOUGH!" Buster yelles ,"The show is in a few weeks . and i expect you all to be ready and practice hard ,the studio doesn't close till 12 and its 2  so you have all day to practice , I have to go visit Eddie Good luck to all of you!"

And then just like that he was gone .

"Ok then everyone , Gunter let's go practice some dance steps shall we?" Rosita asks . Gunter nodded ,"Yah That be good!" And they left upstairs.

Mike huffed and walked of behind them ,leaving Meena, Ash and I.

"Wanna practice together? I mean we could help each other out in some places..." Meena asks, Ash nods her head. "Sure" they look at me.
"Alright ,Let's Practice here " I said and walked to the stage .

"Who's first ?" I ask.

"Why don't you go?" Meena asks

"Yah Johnny you have better singing voice then us ,you should definitely go" Ash said in a cool voice and took a seat in the front row of the audience .
Meena sat besides her .

I blushed at her words ,"T-thank you Ash , Wait is this for Practice or the Show?"

"Well we could only practice our vocal cords the Song for the contest should be a surprise " Ash said ,Meena agreed .
Just then a beaping noise came from Meenas pocket , it was her phone .

She looked at the screen it was a text message ,"sorry guys I need to go,my mom needs me "

"Bye meena" Ash said looking a bit nerves. What's that about? Does she not want to left alone with me?
"Bye" I said and Meena left .

"Are you gonna sing or what?" Ash asked .
"Oh sorry ,of course ."

I grabbed the piano and brought it on stage I started to play and sang.

I stopped and took a long breath , I could hear cheering .  I turned to face the audience, which was only Ash.

She clapped, cheered,and whistled ,I was red as a red rose.
"WOOHOthat was amazing johnny, just perfect!!! Woo!!"

Johnny bowed ,"Thank you, Thank you you've been an amazing audience!"

Ash laughed and got up her seat.

My heart soaring high.

3rd person pov

They practiced more and more till it was finally time to go

"I need to get my spare be right back" Ash said referring to her guitar.

Johnny nodded,"I'll be outside waiting"

Ash nodded and left to get it ,a few minute later she waked outside.

But what she saw shocked her .
It was Johnny. With another gorilla.
Female to be precise .

"Oh your too funny!" The female gorilla giggled, she wore girly clothes and was twirling a peice of blonde hair. Yes she was a blonde mountain gorilla ,very strange.

Ash felt tears sting her eyes , she felt as if this was Lance all over again.
But this time she was stronger.
It was silly really, they weren't even dating. But she felt a strong connection to him.

With head high Ash walked off the other way with a slowly cracking heart.
