~Chapter 19~ Happiness Is The Key To The World

Wooow, I'm extremely sorry for not updating in a while. The holidays caught up to me, and then the new year. However, that's no excuse and all I can ask for is for you to forgive me for not apologizing. I hope you enjoy this chapter. Sadly the end is nigh!

Aphmau's POV 

It's been three months since we've been involved in anything strange, nothing extremely interesting has happened and I'm glad to say that no one has been brought to harm. I can't stress to anyone how grateful I am towards Feyeis. The gift he has given us has protected us for these months and I couldn't be happier. I exhaled in relief, stepping out into the yard. I couldn't stop myself from smiling. I turned around when I heard the door shut behind me to see Aaron there with a big smirk plastered on his face.

"Hey Sweetie," he smiled and wrapped his arms around me tightly. I smiled, leaning my head on his shoulder. 

"Hey. What brings you out here?" I asked. He shrugged.

"Am I not allowed to go outside anymore or somethin'?" He chuckled and pushed me away a little bit, only to give me a quick kiss on the lips. I smirked as he kissed me and kissed him back. "That's one of the reasons, though." I laughed and heard him chuckle again. 

"I'm finally happy again. I haven't been really happy in 5 years, 5 years. It's been so long since I've felt real happiness.  I can't stress how grateful I am that you came back, or how grateful I am towards Feyeis," I explained. I saw Aaron give me a huge smile, and hug me tightly. "You know... No one ever explained how, or why, you were brought back. It remains a mystery to this day." 

Aaron cleared his throat, bringing my attention to him. "Actually, I know why. When Feyeis gave us that gift, he transferred some information to me. I know the reason why both Zane and I came back." I widened my eyes.

"Mind telling me?" I asked. He shook his head.

"I'll tell you later. I just want to spend this time being happy. After all, happiness is the key to the world."

I laughed. "Yeah. It is." I couldn't stop myself from smiling broadly again. I exhaled in relief and looked up at Aaron. "You wanna know something?"

"What?" He looked down at me, flashing a grin. 

"I"- I  gave him a kiss on the forehead,-"Love"- I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek,-"You." I quickly kissed him on the lips. Surprised, he almost pulled back. Quickly, he fixed his footing and kissed me back, keeping me from pulling away. I finally pulled away and was blushing brightly- he was too. "Now I'm happy."

"I am too. And guess what, I love you too." I smiled at his words and leaned into his chest. I grabbed his hand and started running. 

"Come on! Let's go for a run!" I pulled him along, and he stumbled a few times as he tried to match my speed. He eventually did, and ran next to me.

"Where... Are we.. going?" He asked between breaths. 

"Anywhere! I just want to enjoy this happiness!" I exclaimed, I kept running, nowhere in particular. At this time, I just wanted to be happy, and boy, I was.\
