Feeling in December

Chapter 1

"Psssst psssst babe....baaabe....wake up". Seth pokes at Joeys sleepy face. A small smile grows on Joeys face as his sleepiness wears off. "What?" He asks in a cute raspy voice. "I'm hungry can you make me food?" Seth begs. "Why can't you make it you're awake?" Joey rolls over and pretends to try to go back to sleep. " because I'm too lazy and I don't want too". Joey lifts his head up and looks at Seth. Shes only wearing under wear and one of his t-shirts, her light fluffy brown hair is all over the place, and the way the lights form out side reflected off her beautiful blue eyes just that alone always made Joey smile. "But it's my birthday". He says before jumping up and tackling Seth tickling her. She rolls around in laughter trying to get out of his grip. She wiggles herself loose and rolls off the bed laughing. " oh my gosh Joey I forgot you were naked". she sits there shaking her head and laughing, before getting up and going to the bathroom to brush her teeth. Joey lays on the bed exposing his naked body, his fairly tan skin pressed against the white blankets made his body look almost perfect, his blue eyes glowing from the light reflecting from outside, his wispy dark black hair lays perfectly against the pillow.

Joey lifts his head. He smiles and watches Seth brush her teeth. She was beautiful to him even when she wasn't trying. "Can you put pants on"? Seth laughs. "maybe I don't want too"  Joey laughs as he covers up half way with the blanket.  "Well I'm getting in the shower". Joey sits up still covered half way by the blankets. "Mind if I join?" Joey smirks. Seth laughs and then smiles "if you'd like". Joey gets up to join Seth but there's a knock at the door. " ugggh" Joey grabs a pair of shorts and throws them on before going to the door. Joey opens the front door and is surprised by his friend Chris yelling "HAPPY BIRTHDAY". Joey still being slightly tired gets  drawn back and startled slightly. "How's it to feel to be 18? I'm still older by the way". Chris laughs. " oh shut it Chris. You just turned 19 three weeks ago". Chris comes in and looks around at the apartment. "Did you move furniture? Cause it looks different". "Well Seth wanted something different so we rearranged stuff". Still looking around and just checking things out. "Speaking of which Joseph where's your mistress at?" Joey smiles and shakes his head at Chris. "She's in the shower". "Well why didn't you join her you could be hitting that". Chris laughs " yea I would be if you weren't here". Joey pushes Chris back out the door. " see you at 4 Chris". Chris shakes his head laughing and walks away. "See you at 4".

"Hey babe don't forget to lock the door on your way out I'm going down to the car". "Making me do everything and it is my birthday". Seth sticks her tongue out at Joey playfully before disappearing down the hallway. Joey texts Chris letting him know that they're leaving. Chris replies almost instantly saying he's already there. Joey rolls his eyes and laughs knowing Chris probably hasn't even started getting ready.

They arrive at the restaurant and are greeted by Chris at the doors. "So you actually were here on time" Joey teases. "No I just got here". "Haha well we should go inside it's freezing cold out here". They head inside and find seats all the way in the back, there was an open widow room so the view of the city was beautiful as it was being covered by a fleece white blanket of snow. Joey grabs Seth's hand and gives it a tight little squeeze before placing a kiss on her cheek. "Ok love birds no PDA. Save that for later" Chris winks and laughs. They all eventually order they're food and eat. Seth admires the city line even though she's seen it a million times she's addicted to scenery. "Seth you gonna finish your pizza?" Seth looks away from her gaze and is brought back to reality. " hmm oh yea". She giggles and proceeds to eat her food.

They sit and talk for about an hour until they realize that it's getting dark and decide to pay and go home. As they're walking out of the restaurant Seth looks up at Joey "I know you don't like big gifts or parties or anything really expensive for your birthday but do you want to do anything else before the day is over?" Joey's silent for a few steps while thinking. "Yes". "Well what do you want to do"? Joey looks down at Seth and smiles "go home". Seth rolls her eyes and laughs. "Ok then. "We can go home". They say they're goodbyes to Chris and leave.

Traffic was horrendous but they eventually got home. "It's almost 9 but I'm exhausted" Joey says and plops on the bed and kicking off his shoes. "Me too". Seth's across the room tying her hair up in a messy bun and changing into one of joeys shirts before jumping in bed and tackling Joey. "Goodnight love" she plants a kiss upon joeys lips before rolling off his stomach and curling up in the sea of blankets on they're bed. Joey smiles and wraps his arms around Seth before drifting off into a deep sleep.
