Chapter 1

It was another sunny day in downtown Chicago, I was by myself in the city park and glad that I was the only one in the park, you see all the kids at school always talked about those stupid Transformers, gosh those talking, annoying robots made me wanna puke! How could people be interested in that stuff? I mean seriously those dumb overgrown toasters are boring as hell! I have watched all the long boring movies, each one is stupid, Sam is a horny teenager don't get me started on that horny robot Wheelie, who humped Mikaela's leg. I mean seriously don't they get laid? Excuse my language but after awhile of hearing about those robots made me want to scream and kick the person who is talking about them.

"Come on Alexis!" I hear a girl from my school call, I see they all are playing that Transformers game where they all are a Transformer, aren't they like 16? "Want to come join? We have room for one more Autobot!" The same girl calls, don't blame me for not knowing her name, I haven't got to known any of the kids in my school since I moved here when I was ten and now I'm 16, been here for 6 years, there I did the math for you.

"No," I grunt and walk past them, "Well see ya later Ironhide!" She calls teasing me with the nickname everyone gave me for no reason! So what if I get a crazy look in my eyes when I see a nice sexy gun! So what if I'm a trigger happy grump! I grunt walking down the sidewalk and to my adoptive father's gun shop that he owns, my mother died when I was 13, I never knew my father, I've been arrested by cops before just to get my mother's attention when I was 12, but she didn't care, I have jumped off Suicide Ledge, which is 100 feet above a lake, thinking I could fly when I was younger, which I mean at age 10, because some of my "friends" told me I could fly and I was stupid enough to believe them.

I reach my adoptive dad's gun shop, "Hey hon!" He calls working at the counter with a customer when I walk in, I set my things down behind the counter and shove my hands in my pockets and work on cleaning the guns, I love talking about guns, I could go on and on about guns, I have my cleaning rag in hand.

Soon it is closing time, I sigh in relief, Danny, the name of my adoptive father, closes and locks the store, we have a house on the top floor of our store, it's a pretty nice place, me and Danny both walk up the stairs, Danny has my bags slumped over his shoulder he is trailing behind me while I walk up the stairs.

Once upstairs, Danny makes a quick dinner, hamburgers, we eat in peace, I do dishes with Danny, then we watch some football then it's time for my bedtime then Danny sends me off to bed, I do what little homework I have then sleep.
