7:00 am

I look at Jer. He's asleep.
Then I go in Jenna's bedroom, look around and leave. I sigh.
I looked at my hair still surprised it's long.

I walk to my room and Damon's there.

That'll get easier. But you knew that. "He said.
What do you want Damon? "I asked. Not really ready to deal with him.
I want to apologize for what you had to do with Vicki. "He said. My eyes widen

Damon... "I warned.
No, I really want to apologize this time. "He said.
Please. Emely, feeding her my blood, and killing her was wrong. "He said.
Yes, it was. "I told him.

And I know I don't deserve your forgiveness, for making you kill her, but...I need it. "He said desperately.

Damon I forgave you a long time ago. "I said softly.
You did? "He asked surprised.

Yes, I did because you made up for it. And that's not something easy to make up for, but you did. "I said to him smiling.
He smiled happy. And looked really happy that I forgave him.
And he sped out.

8:00 pm

There's a banner reading "Movie in the Square Presents Gone With the Wind". Some girls are dressed up for the event. Me, Elena and Jer are walking through the square.

You brought us to see a girl movie. "I whined. And Jer nodded agreeing.
We had to get out of the house, Emely. This is our three-hour distraction from reality. "Elena said.
Is that what we're doing? Pretending like our lives aren't screwed? "Jer asked.
We need to do this, okay? Breathe, eat, sleep, wake up, and do it all over again until one day, it's just not as hard anymore. "Elena said sighing.

We unfold a blanket and put it on the ground. Elena kneels on it. Caroline arrives with a couple of baskets and places them in the middle of the blanket.

Hey! There you guys are. Who's hungry? "Caroline asked.
Are we really doing this? "I asked.
Yes, we are really doing this. We are going to take a page from Scarlett. We made it through the war. "Caroline said.

She kneels down on the blanket.

I know you guys went through hell, and my mom knows I am a vampire, so basically it's like Atlanta has burned. And yet, in spite of everything, we persevere. "Caroline said.

Me and Jer sit down with them.

What are we eating? "Jer asked. While i smiled.
Something good. "Caroline said.

2 Hours Later

I see Stefan walking towards us.
He joins Me, Jer, Caroline and Elena.

Will you both come take a walk with me? "He asked motioning at Me and Elena.

We get up and walk with him.

We're breaking the rules, you know. Movie night's supposed to be a distraction. Tomorrow we can return to our regularly scheduled drama. "Elena said annoyed.
