The Sacrifice

I woke up from hearing a noise.

My bedroom door is slightly open.

I lay back down.

And turn over in my bed, I shut my eyes.

I jolted out of bed, because I hear a door slamming loudly.

I sit up in my bed.

I get out of bed and slowly walk across my room.

I quietly open my door and walks out onto the landing.

I look around the landing for anything suspicious and quietly.

And i see Elena come out of her room.

She looks at me.

You heard the noise to? "I whispered.

She nodded.

We approached Jer's room, looking in through his slightly open door.

Suddenly, we hear a noise from behind us.

We gasp and spins around.

And we see Ric, shirtless and in his boxers.

He also scared by our unexpected appearance.

We were trying to catch our breath.

Emely, Elena. Ahem. "Ric said embarrassed.

Ric lowers the ice cream bowl he's carrying towards his nether region.

We heard something. "I said trying not to laugh.

Ric chuckles nervously.

Elena avoids his gaze, embarrassed.

Jenna walks up the stairs, wearing Ric's shirt.

She runs her hand through her hair, embarrassed as well.

That was us. I'm sorry. "Jenna said.

We didn't think anyone else was up. "Ric said.

But here you are. "Jenna said.

We were just- "Ric started.

Jenna and Ric are try to explain the situation to Me and Elena, but are failing in their attempt.

Ric sighs and holds out the ice cream bowl to us.

Chunky Monkey? "He asked.

We didn't answer.

Well... "Ric started and chuckles.

I'm naked. So I'm gonna go. "He finished.

He walks past us and into Jenna's bedroom, shutting the door behind him.

We start to walk back towards our rooms.

Jenna, embarrassed, walks up the remainder of the stairs.

I'm really really sorry. "Jenna said to us.

We turn around when we reach our doorway.

It's okay, Jenna, don't worry about it. "Elena said smiling.

I know he's been staying over a lot. Are you --- are you sure it's okay? "She asked us.

Seems like things are good. "I said.

And she starts smiling.

They're extremely good. "She said.

Then we're extremely okay with it. "I told her smiling.

We all smile at each other and go back to our rooms.

I get in my bed.

And curl up in my blankets and drift off to sleep.
