I had no choice other than calling Jane. She was the only one who knew all the places here since I didn't want to bother Michael. My feelings were unexplainable. My sister broke my silence by telling me if Aunt Rose was going to be okay.
"Of course she will." I smiled and hugger her.
"Promise me." She said.
"I promise." I looked at her. Our conversation ended when the door knocked. It was Jane.
"Hey I'm here let's go."
I held Jessy's hand and headed to her car. I sat on the sit next to the driver. What I saw surprised me a little.
"John?" Yeah it was John. I slowly checked if Michael was looking, but he wasn't.
"You good?" He asked.
"Yeah I'm fine." I replied.
"How's Michael?" He started the engine and started driving the car.
"He's okay." There was a moment of silence until Jane started talking and playing with Jessy.
"Do you guys know which hospital she may be in?" I asked.
"There's only one hospital here Alie, so most probably she's there." Jane replied.
"Oh."
-
We were there now. The hospital was not very big neither small. It was good for a small town. We gave my aunt's name to the doctor and he gave us her room number. I impatiently ran to her room without waiting for Jane, John, and Jessy.
I could see my aunt lying sick in the bed. She was pale and anyone would know she was in a bad condition.
I opened the door silently to not wake her up. I sat next to her and held her hand.
"Aunty?" Jessy said from behind me.
"Shshhh, you'll wake her up." I told her.
"Sorry who's Alie?" The doctor interrupted.
"I am."
"May I have a word with you?"
"Yes of course."
I headed outside not knowing what he was going to say.
"Your aunt left a note before she fell asleep, and she had remembered your name in the note. She wanted mr to tell you about her situation. She couldn't tell you by her own words."
"What's wrong with her?" I asked. I could feel my blood flow and heart pump so fast.
"She is suffering brain cancer."
"Wh-wh-what? No! Of course not! Who are you to decide?! She's sick but she'll be fine!"
"Alie, I know it's hard, but you have to accept the fact that she's very sick." He said.
After a moment of silence, I could feel tears running down from my eyes touching my cheeks falling down on the ground. I couldn't help myself. I couldn't be strong. Jane saw me crying, she immediately ran and hugged me. She knew the doctor had told me a bad news.
"Al? Why are you crying?" Jessy said.
"We'll talk about it later baby." I hugged her and smiled at her.
"John can you do me a favor and take Jessy home and stay with her?" I asked John.
"Of course, take care." He kissed my cheek. I could feel his love towards me.
"Come on Jessy lets go home." He took Jessy and went.

JOHN'S THOUGHTS:
I was in the car trying to entertain Jessy on my way to Alie's home. I was very sad for them, especially Alie. Seeing her in tears was one of the worst things I had seen in my life. It literally broke my heart. I wanted to hug her and feel her in my arms but all I did was kiss her.
Alie had forgotten locking the door, so I easily came in. I thought she had forgotten the lights on too, but no, she hadn't. I had a guest sitting on the couch. Who could it be? Someone I hate from the bottom of my heart. It was Michael, yeah, Michael. That jerk.
