Note from Author:
Dear readers,
Before I start to continue my story, I wanted to thank each and every one of you who was supportive during all these years. The last time I wrote a story was 8 years ago and today it is because of you that I decided to continue writing. But let me be honest with you, this
chapter is going to be the last one for this story  because I feel like I'm not the same person who wrote this 8 years ago, but I promise to write much better ones for you.

PS: Don't mind my English.. It's not my first language.

Love,
Lara.

Alie's POV:

I woke up with Michael's arms wrapped around me. I suddenly got up and found myself surrounded with family and friends. I looked at Michael's eyes and could see the pain in his eyes.

"Where's Jessy?" I asked.
"She's with Jane. They went to buy her some chocolates and chips."

I turned around and saw mom and dad approaching me. I ran and hugged them and I couldn't hold back my tears. This was supposed to be a perfect summer vacation for me, but it turned out to be the worst. Michael came and took me by the hand to take me to my room.

"When's the funeral?"
"Today, in 2 hours, we should be getting ready." He answered with low tone. "I'll let you get ready." He headed to the door.
"Hey." I made him stop and turn around.
"When this is over, I wanna go home."
"I promise you, we will." He answered and got out of my room.

I opened my closet and sat on my bed. I hadn't brought anything black and formal with me. Who knew I was going to go to a funeral during my summer vacation. Luckily, my mom had thought of this and had brought with her some appropriate clothes for me to wear.

After the funeral:

"Did you pack all your stuff?" I asked Jessy.
"Yes sis, I did. Don't be sad. Auntie is on a vacation with God. That's what Jane told me." She smiled. Her innocence made me smile back and have a sense of relief.
"Yes she is baby girl. Are you ready to spend some time with mommy and daddy?"
"Mhmm I am but I will miss you!" She pouted.
"I'll miss you too but I'll be back soon okay?" She nodded. "Mom and dad are waiting for you, come on let's go."
I took her out and saw our parents waiting outside the car. I could feel my mother's joy on her face. She was very haply because she finally got the time to spend some time with Jessy. From the day Jessy was born, she couldn't have the opportunity to raise her the way she wanted. The same goes for my dad. They both took a month break from their jobs to spend it with Jessy.

I look at my right and saw Michael's romantic eyes staring at me. I could feel him examining me to see whether I was okay. My sister waved goodbye at Michael as my dad drove the car. I walked my way to Michael's and wrapped my arms around him. I wondered what I'd do if he wasn't here right now.
"Are you ready to say goodbye to this place?" He held my cheek.
"I can't wait for that moment." I smiled with my tired eyes. He kissed me and I could feel the emotions that we were exchanging with that kiss.  He could take my soul's pain away with one gaze into my eyes.

"What are you thinking?" I asked.
"I'm thinking of the coming 30 days we're gonna spend in Hawaii." He smiled.
"What?" I was very surprised.
"I'm so sorry if you don't want to because I know you said you wanted to go home-."
I didn't let him continue talking.
"Michael, anywhere with you feels like home."
He smiled at me and grabbed me by my waist. We kissed as if it was the last time we were seeing each other. Everything with him felt better and in place.

This summer vacation taught me that life is not only good or bad. Life is all about good AND bad. Each of them might come alone during your life but they won't leave during the same time. Good and bad complement each other. In my story, I gained an angel in heaven and a soulmate on earth.
