"Yeah, sure! Anything for you, Michael!" I was surprised that the woman didn't get out of the car and bow. I crossed my arms, jealousy arising in me. "We need to call the police." He said. She evidently had just noticed the gash on my my face and arm, and the bruises and dirt that were covering Michael's face. "Oh, my goodness! Of course!" She said, her Japanese accent showing up.

She handed Michael the phone and he dialed 911.

911, what's your emergency?

The lady on the phone asked. Michael let out a sigh and began to speak.

Yes, we just got abducted, and into a car crash. We know who the-

"Yoo-hoo!" A kiddish voice said. I turned around quickly, only to see Gigi standing there with my mother. "Michael!" She yelled. "Put the phone down, or she's dead."She pulled out a gun, and put it to my mother's head. I screamed loudly.

The lady in the car drove off 5 seconds before, leaving her very expensive phone in Michael's hands. Michael whispered something into the phone before throwing it to the side.

"Okay, you don't have to do this. Please put the gun down." I said, holding my hands above my head. Gigi cocked her head to the side, throwing my mother around like she was a rag-doll. "But what you don't know is, that she was apart of this whole entire thing."

My eyes widened. "My mother wouldn't ever do that." I said, my face turning red. I lunged towards her. "Ah, ah, ahh, take one more step and her brain is on the other side of the road." Gigi said.

"Maybe we don't have to take another step." Michael said. He suddenly grabbed my hand and took off running, grabbing my mother in the process. The cop cars emerged from the fog, the look of disgust covering Gigi's face.

"You bitch!" She cursed out loud. I chuckled as the police pulled out their megaphones, shouting in some foreign language that I guessed was Japanese. Michael was running faster than I had ever seen him run, and dragging me and my mother along with us.

I smiled as I heard her cries. I mean, I shouldn't be smiling, I know, but I was really relieved. Michael stopped running as we neared the edge of a cliff.

The muffled sound of a siren neared us. It took us a minute to find out who was driving the car, and when we did, our faces scrunched up in horror. "Michael?!" I yelled. "We're gonna have to jump." He replied.

"What?" Me and my mother said in unison.

"JUMP!" Michael yelled. Soon enough, we met the freezing ocean water before us, five seconds later, so did Gigi. We swam up to the surface, the cool air stinging my nose and my forehead. It was only a matter of time before lots of cars ended up on the shore where we sat. The Asian man hopped out of the car, followed by Benji. "Michael?" He yelled, holding his hands up. "I'm sorry man, I didn't even know there was anybody I-"

"It's okay, Benji." He assured him.

"I can't believe you did that, Michael." I said, we were face to face now.

"I would do anything for you. I.." Michael trailed off.

"You what?" I smiled.

"I think I'm addicted to you."

I smiled and kissed his lips. That was the most passionate kiss we had shared in a while. Not a kiss of lust, but a kiss of victory.

As we rode in the cop car, there was pure silence. It wasn't awkward silence either. Relief, I guess.
