Chapter 5

Violet's POV

"So what happen to meeting the pack another day?" I heard Bruce ask smugly behind me.

"Well things didn't work that way now did they?" I asked laying down on his well I guess our bed now.

He crawled on top of me, "Tell me why they didn't work out that way." He whispered, kissing the side of my neck softly.

"That slut doesn't know how to keep her hands to herself. I should of killed her right there, no questions asked." I felt my eyes turn black, just by remembering what just happened.

"Possessive I like it." He whispered huskily, kissing on the spot where my mark would be.

"It's not funny Bruce." I mumbled shoving him off of me.

I felt him pull me into his chest, "Baby I'm just messing with you, don't be upset."

"Ok." I whispered, sitting in his lap with my face in the crook of his neck.

"Can I ask you something baby?" I heard him ask.

I nodded into his neck.

"When you told me to leave how come my wolf and I submitted to you?" He asked, you could hear the confusion in his voice.

I pulled back looking him into the eyes, "Well cause my dad was the strongest Alpha, and I was the gonna be the next strongest Alpha ever, long story short I have more power over you." I said simply.

His jaw dropped, "But you don't have the Alpha aura."

I giggled, "I can hide that along with my scent."

"Can you show me?" He asked.

"One day I will."

"Ok." He mumbled laying down.

~Skip to dinnertime~

"So Violet I heard you had a run in with Whitney today?" Mrs Grace asked, trying not to smile. Key word trying.

"Yes I did." I said picking at my green beans.

Mr Rob starting laughing, Mrs Grace shot him a look but that didn't stop him from asking, "I heard you beat her a good one, eh?"

Bruce chuckled, "Yep I sure did, maybe this time she'll learn her lesson."

"This time?" Mrs Grace said raising en eyebrow.

"The other day Violet stopped her and her followers from bullying Lilly." Bruce said proudly.

"That's who broke Whitney's arm and broke their noses?" Mrs Grace asked.

"Yup!" I munched over my green beans.

"Wow, I shouldn't be so shocked your dad was an amazing fighter. May I ask who trained you?" Mr Rob asked.

"I did but I had some help from my friend Asher helped, he's about as good as me." I heard Bruce growl from besides me, I rolled my eyes.

"Well I'd love to meet him, you should invite him over, he sounds lovely." Mrs Grace said while sipping on her red wine.

Bruce stiffened besides me letting out a low growl, telling me he wasn't to happy about the idea, but that will just fuel her idea.

I smiled sweetly and nodding, "Ill call him later hopefully council will let him have some time off."

"Give him time off? Is he an agent or something?" Mr Rob asked.

"Actually he is he, one of the best they have." I said smiling proudly.

"I could do better." Bruce mumbled under his breath, I also didn't hear.

I placed my hand on his leg and kissed his cheek.

~A little while after dinner~

Me and Bruce are currently spooning on his bed.

I reached for my phone on the night stand.

"Whatcha doing baby?" He mumbled.

"I'm gonna call Ash and see if he can come and visit." I said dialing his number.

"You know I'm not to happy about that, right?" He sighed.

"Yup I know and that's only fueling my-" I cut off by Ash answering his phone.

"Ashy!!!" I squealed Into the phone.

"Woah what's got to so happy? Met your mate?" He chuckled.

"Actually I did and I want you to come and meet him and our pack."

"Ah got an Alpha, eh? You know their very possessive right?" He told me.

"I've seen that first hand." I chuckled looking over at a pouting Bruce.

"Well when do you want me Sweetheart?" He asked, I heard a few papers being moved around in the background.

I guess he's checking to see when he's free.

"Whenever you can come Hun."

"How about tomorrow? Seeing I'm free for about a week."

"Tomorrow?! That's great! Start packing." I said happily.

"Alright well I see you tomorrow, love ya Vivi."

"I love you to Ashy, see ya tomorrow." I said ending the call.

"Did you hear Brucy? He'll be here tomorrow!" I turned around and saw his eyes were black.

"Why did you tell him you love him?" He said stalking over to me.

"Cause he's like my brother, duh." I said rolling my eyes.

Possessive crazy wolf.

"Come on you know you love it Vi." My wolf chuckled.

"Yeah but he's going out of control with it." I muttered.

"Hey watch out-" She was cut off by me getting slammed up against the wall.

"What the hell Bruce?" I snapped.

"Guess again."

"His wolf?" I asked.

"You know I have a name." He snapped.

"You never told me." I remarked.

"Well sweetheart it's Ryder."

"Like as in Flinn Ryder?" I smirked.

"No, but you never gave me a good reason why you told him you love him." He spat.

"I told you I love him like a brother, now let me go Ryder." I growled.

"No." He growled back, pushing me a little harder.

Ok I know this is a dick move but he didn't listen.

"Your hurting me Ryder." I whimpered.

He instantly let me go and backed away, I looked up and saw his eyes go back to normal.

"I'm sorry I-I didn't mean to, it's just I didn't want you to say you loved anyone but me. I don't to share not lose you." He stuffed his hands in his pockets, looking down at his shoes.

I hugged him, "I'm not hurt I just said that so you'd let me go. And you have to remember he's just a friend he's family, but I love you more, you'll never lose me and you won't have to share me."

"You love me?" He pulled away smiling.

I rolled my eyes, well there goes our moment.

"Don't let go to your head."

He just chuckled.
