Chapter 16

Violets POV

"Hey, we should go bowling." Jeremy suggested.

"Yeah we should." Asher nodding in agreement.

"Yeah, but I can't bowl." I sighed leaning on Jeremy's car.

Ash came over and wrapped an arm around my shoulder, "We'll teach you. So why'd say?"

"Why not." I agreed.

I huffed picking the ball up again, then tossing/throwing it. "Come on come on."

"No!" I sighed it went into the gutter.

Ash and Jeremy were laughing.

"You guys suck." I grumbled sitting down at the table.

"But you swallow." Jeremy remarked.

I scoffed, "Whatever it's your turn."

He stood up, making his way over to the lane, he picked up a ball and bowled a strike.

"What?!" I shrieked.

"Hey watch me." Ash said, grabbing a ball.

I watched him, guess what. He got a fucking strike too! Cheaters..

"Just like that." He said walking back over to me.

"There's no way I could do that." I shook my head.

"Yes there is, let me help you." He pulled me out of my seat, dragging me to the lane.

"Witch ball do you want?" He asked.

I pointed to the bright yellow, "That one."

"That's the lightest one they have." He said picking it up.

"I know that's why I want it, the lightest ones go faster."

"Alright." He handing me the ball, I slipped my fingers into the holes.

"When you get ready to release the ball slide a little bit." I nodded.

I pulled my arm back, it slipped off my fingers and flew backwards.

"That's totally how you do it." Jeremy smirked, sipping on his soda.

"Shut up." I groaned, picking up the ball.

"Here." Ash said sliding my fingers into the right holes, then put his hand over mine, guiding me and the ball towards the lane.

"Let go." He said, I let go.

I watched at it flew straight for the middle pin. It hit the middle pin then the other pins started falling down too.

The last pin finally fell over, "YES!" I said hugging Ash.

"Thank you so much!"

"Anytime." He smiled.

"Move over bitches it's my turn." Jeremy said shoving us aside.

"See ya later Jeremy." I said getting on the bike.

"Bye Violet. Bye Ash." Jeremy waved then drove off.

"Alright lets go." Asher said, starting up the engine.

I sighed, putting my arms around his waist.

I wonder what my parents would think of me, would they be disappointed in me? Would they be proud?

I bet they'd be disappointed, I'm disappointed in myself for everything that has happened, it's all my fault. No wonder Bruce would go kiss another girl.

I miss my mom and dad so much and my pack. I wish everyone was still here, no worries, no fear, just happiness.

"Violet." I snapped out of my thoughts looking up.

"Why are you crying?" Ash said cupping my cheek.

I looked down, touching my cheek. I didn't even know I was crying.

"Come here." He said pulling me into his embrace.

I rapped my arms around him pulling him closer, hiding my face into his neck.

After a few moments we broke apart, his arms were still around my waist.

"Vi why were you crying?" He asked softly.

"I miss them." I whispered.

"I know you do, but everything's gonna be alright." He said wiping my tears away.

I looked in his eyes, nodding.

He leaned down our lips brushed against each other, he went to pull away.

I pulled him back down, moving my lips against his, he started moving his lips against mine.

Our lips fit perfectly together. I smiled into the kiss.

"Violet?" I broke away from the kiss, turning around.

Bruce stood there looking hurt, "How could you? We're mates, doesn't that mean anything to you?"
