Chapter 21

Violet's POV

"Here you go." Ash said placing my plate of pancakes in front of me.

"Thanks." I smiled and started cutting up my pancakes.

"No problem." He said sitting next to me.

"Where's Bruce?" I said with a mouthful of food.

He laughed, "What?"

I swallowed, "Where's Bruce?" I asked. I haven't seen him since the movie ended.

"He's just talking to his dad about pack stuff, he'll be back later."

I nodded and continued eating.

When I finished I picked up my plate, and washed it, laying it on the drying rack.

I felt arms wrap themselves around my waist, I smiled turning around.

Ash was smiling down at me, "So what do you want to do?"

I rested my head on his chest, "We should go to bed."

He kissed my head, "But you've only been up for a few hours."

"Bed rest remember?"

"Oh, I forgot."

"Idiot." I joked.

He scoffed, "Words hurt you know."

"Whatever drama queen. Carry me."

"I dunno you were being mean to me." He pulled away.

I pouted, "But I'm hurt."

He sighed and picked me up.

Bruce's POV

"What's up dad?" I asked sitting down a cross from him.

"We've got him." He said.

I nodded my head, "Okay what now?"

"I'm getting together a few pack members, we leave Friday. You've told Violet right?" I sighed looking down. "You idiot she needs to know."

"I know I'll tell her, I'm just trying to get her well." I said.

He nodded, "I understand. Why don't you go spend some time with her, i'll see you later."

I stood up and gave him a hug, "I'll see you later dad."

"Okay see you later." He patted my back.

I opened the door and walked back to mine and Violets and Asher's room. I opened the door and saw Violet asleep with Asher's arm draped over her waist in a protective way.

Slipping off my shoes, I got onto the bed laying over the opposite side of Violet, I laid my arm across her waist.

Friday came really fast, I told Violet about me leavening to get Carter.

Asher wanted to come but someone had to stay here with Violet and I'd rather it be him.

I tied up my laces.

'Bruce you ready?' Dad linked me.

'Yes, let say goodbye to Violet and Asher.' I linked back.

I walked over to Violet who was sitting in the desk chair pouting. I kneed down in front of her.

"Violet it's time for me to go." I said softly.

"I don't want you to go. What if something bad happens?"

I pulled her into a hug, "Nothing's gonna happen, I'm gonna be just fine." I whispered into her ear.

She hugged me tightly then let go, I pulled back and looked her at, "I love you." She said her eyes brimming with tears.

"I love you too." I pecks her lips.

She pulled me closer and kissed me.

I kissed her back, then pulling away after a few moments.

"I gotta go." She looked down and nodded.

"I'll be back in the morning okay?"

She looked up at me, "Okay." She whispered.

I stood up, hugging her tightly one last time. I looked up and saw Asher standing there at the doorway.

I walked over to him, "Take care of her."

He nodded, "You'll be alright?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine just take care of her and yourself." I told him.

"I will."

"Okay, I gotta go see you tomorrow morning." I gave him quick hug then walked out the door.

"Is everyone ready?" I asked the pack warriors.

Everyone all nodded.

"Alright lets head out." Everyone shifted and then started running.

I had a bad feeling in the put of my stomach, I ignored it running ahead of everyone else.

Violets POV

I had a bad feeling, I could tell Bruce and Asher did too.

I sighed laying down next to Asher.

"You okay love?" He asked looking down at me.

I nodded, "Yeah just thinking."

"Don't worry he's gonna be fine." He pulled me into his arms, squeezing me gently.

Bruce's POV

We stopped a ten feet away from where Carter and his people were.

Everyone but a few people shifted back into there human form.

We started slowly making our way to the little shack. We were about just a few feet away, until I heard some rustling from the bushes around us.

I looked up and saw a bunch of wolves coming out from the bushes around us.

It was a trap, and we walked right into it.

Violets POV

I sat up.

"Something wrong."

Asher sat up, "What's wrong?"

I got out of bed, pulling on my tennis shoes, "I gotta go, Bruce is in trouble." I pulled my hair up.

Ash grabbed my arm, "Violet you can't go, you're on bed rest."

"I don't care about that, something's wrong and I'm going." I yanked my arm away from him.

I opened the bedroom door, and started jogging down the stairs, ignoring Asher's calls for me to come back.

"Violets you need to be on bed rest." Mrs Grace said.

"Something's wrong with Bruce, I need to go." I rushed out.

She looked panicked, "Violet you need to stay here. We can't have the future Luna in danger."

I shook my head, "I'm going." I said running out the back door shifting into my wolf form.

Sorry for the late update and the POV change so much.

I've been dealing with a few family problems, and all so sorry. Plus I haven't been in the mood to write so yeah. Also my friend I gave the shout out to is having problems uploading so she's trying her best so I just wanted to say that.
