I'm sitting in the training room with the creatures talking. Like why try invaded earth. I learned that they only did it because their king threaten them. I understood them. Then I heard someone clear their throat. I turn around to see Steve. I tell the creatures good bye and turned to speak with Steve.
"What were you talking to them about?" He asked.
'I asked why they invaded earth.' I said.
"And what did they say?" He asked.
'That they were threaten from their king. If they did not their families and themselves will perish.' I said.
"Want to spare?" He asked.
'Sure' I said leaving the subject behind.
We got on the mat, and got ready. We started sparing. We could hear the doors open and close. But we blocked it out and kept going. I start remembering the war. All the people that I tried to protect. Those people that I couldn't help because I was in the ocean. I got back in the moment by clapping. I look up to see that I pinned Steve underneath me. I got up and helped Steve up.
I got up and left the room. I went to the kitchen and got me some orange juice. Everyone walked in and sat down at the table. And there sat Clint Barton.
'Dang Clint you have grown. How's your parents and sister?' I say.
"I know it's been a while. My parents died and my sister is missing still. Well she's been missing for ten years and it bothers me." He said. The avengers just looked at me and to him and back to me.
'Oh no please tell me it wasn't the same people that did this too me.' I said.
"We don't know. But I hope that she is found. I want to see my sister again." He said.
"Wait you had a sister?" The avengers said.
"Wait how do you two know each other?" Tony asked.
'I saved his family a couple times. And then got their breakfast every morning when they entered the cafe that my ma owned. Last time I saw him was when he was eleven or twelve. The first time I saw him when he was eight or nine.' I said quietly.
"What was that back there Sammy it was like you were in a trance?" Steve asked.
'Flashbacks.' I said quietly.
"Can you tell us a few stories?" Clint asked.
'Yea oh here's one. Okay it was my first tour. I was new there and kept to myself. I was lifting weights that I set up. My platoon leader came up to me. Saying that I was bluffing, and stealing his respect as a leader. He challenged me. So I said ok but I pick out the course. So I said three laps around camp. Then drag the tank chain to a flag area. Then go through the obstacle course the Sargent's put together. He went out first but I easily caught up and passed him. By the time I started the obstacle course he was halfway through the third lap. Considering the track was so light I had carried the tank chain. Once I finished I did trick push ups. While I waited. I told him before we did the competition that I don't want to embarrass him. But at the end he accepted me into the platoon and watched and cared for me like a big brother would do. The next night I got school books. Since I haven't really went to middle school the general gave me textbooks and assignments. Well I do my school at night while watching the camp. That night there was wrestling in the bush at the camp border. I grabbed my gun and checked it out. I ended up speaking his language. He laughed in my face and pressed the the button. I shot him and laid myself on top of the bomb. I didn't care if I died that night, my worry was saving those life's at camp. The bomb blew making me fly threw the air. I landed right outside my platoons tent. They say me bleeding out. They were fussing over me. And do you know what I did?' I asked.
"Pass out?" Tony said.
I smiled and shook my head.
'No I laughed and got up. All my wounds closed up before their eyes. They were gocking at me. That where I got one of my medals from. However when I got back to ma she gave me an earful of being stupid and laying on the bomb.' I said laughing a little.
I looked at the avengers looking at me the same way the camp did.
