Hey! Quick, upload, I know, but I only go to school for, like, four hours a day this week because of exams so I have so much time to write, whoop! I mean I should be studying but whatevs. Today was my last harder exam – chem – so I'm not concerned with studying religion and lit tomorrow cuz they're easy. But I'm also kinda hooked on Teen Wolf...I watched like all the seasons since December...yeah it was bad...so now I'm caught up completely haha I love how they put even the most recent episodes online. I thought it'd be super dumb and cheesy but it's actually really good – like cheesy yeah but good haha. So anyway enjoy this and please comment and vote!

Pic of Zach up there for you to enjoy.

Chapter Four

I Learn the Art of Cracking a Safe

If the steel door hadn't slammed shut behind me with a resonating bang, I probably would have turned and sprinted out of the room as fast as I could. Jer's face screamed exasperation that was on the brink of anger. Molly, on the other hand, was grinning widely and giving me a thumb's up from the safety of behind my brother's back. The Belle hostess lady stood at her side, utterly confused, but I didn't register her presence because – yeah, the boy.

Zach leaned against the wall to the left of Jer, eyebrows raised and eyes glittering in amusement as he looked over at me. His hands were deep in the pockets of his dress pants, and for a second I almost forgot about Jer because I was so distracted by the way his dark hair fell into his eyes and how amazing he looked in the white shirt and black jacket and red tie.

Jer opened his mouth to bawl me out, but Zach beat him to it. Starting to laugh, he shook his head and said loudly, "I tried to tell you, Jer, she's stubborn. Shouldn't you know your own sister well enough to know she wasn't going to listen to you?"

My brother shut his eyes, exhaling loudly, and I had to hide my smile as I realized what Zach was doing. "Shut up before I kill you," growled Jer, turning to glare at him.

"Please," scoffed Zach, rolling his eyes, "I'm way too useful to be killed."

"Sullivan!"

I jumped about a foot in the air as someone yelled from behind me; I had completely forgotten about the mysterious Patrick. His blue eyes widened as he looked between Jer and Zach, walking forward with an accusatory finger in Jer's direction. I couldn't tell whom he was addressing, watching in bewilderment as he stalked up to Jer and got right in his face. Molly and the hostess looked just as confused.

"Are you serious?" snapped Patrick. "You're using him for this?"

I stepped forward slowly so that I could see Jer's face. His jaw clenched as he glanced at me and then over at Zach, who slowly straightened with a wary expression. Moving away from the wall to stand a few feet away from Molly, Zach said in a strange voice, "Ryan, it's fine, it's not what you're thinking."

"We had an agreement!"

"Hold up," I interrupted before my head exploded. "So you did lie? Your name's not really Patrick?"

The blonde-haired man turned away from Jer to give me such an epically confused look that I had to laugh. My brother did actually laugh, which shattered the tension in the room; everyone else relaxed visibly.

"Sometimes it's funny how little you know," commented Jer, shaking his head.

Patrick – or whoever he was – slowly began to grin. "Oh, I get it. No, hon, don't worry, I didn't lie. My name's Patrick. Patrick Ryan." And as I blushed, feeling stupid now, he turned to Zach, saying, "So this is your girl, Sullivan? I like her."
