Comfort Part 5

Error opened a portal into the dead AU.

Yup, this was it.

He opened the AU's code file and quickly destroyed the firewall, he proceeded to delete the entire verse. In an instant the space was pitch black. Error closed the portal and turned around to go back to the antivoid.

"Wow, that was fast!" Error jumped as Ink appeared barley an inch in front of his face.

"AAH, WTF INK!?!?!" He blushed from the close proximity and quickly moved. 'Why the fuck did I blush??? This is freakin' weird I don't know how I feel about this...'

"Never mind that, I had no idea you could delete a 'verse so quickly!" Ink smiled, impressed.

"Well it is what I was made for..." Error grumbled.

Ink's smile faded, "Weird, it took you longer to delete a live AU...?"

"Yeah, I'm not allowed to delete a 'verse that's still active no matter how fast I break down the firewall. So I have to kill everyone and everything before I can delete it."

"Huh, sweet." Ink grabbed Error's hand and they were suddenly at the doodlesphere.

"Uh, okay. What are you doing?"

Ink carefully grabbed a page and showed it to Error. "You know what that is...?" His voice was soft.

Error stared, he didn't know what to think. "It's an AU... being born...?"

Ink grinned ear-to-ear and handed the AU to Error, "Yup, what do you think?"

"It's, so fragile...like I could kill it at any second..."

Ink's smile faded again, "Uh, Error...?" There was fear laced in his tone.

Error looked scared, he handed the AU to Ink and left.

Error sat down and hugged his knees, his breath hitched. He started crying, his glitching getting worse.

"...Error?" Error looked up, tears in his eyes. "I-I'm s-sorryyy!"  Error yelled at the top of his voice.

"Hey, it's fine, Error look at me." Ink tried to calm him down, he just kept yelling.

"ERROR." Ink yelled. Error finally stopped screaming and looked Ink in the eye.

"Look, it's fine. I was scared when you said that but, I was even more scared when you left... don't do that again, ok?"

'Ink cares about me...even more than a young AU, he'd rather see me kill that AU before seeing me like this...'

Error looked away and wiped his tears, he turned back at Ink. "H-Heh, yeah, a-all right, shorty..." He gave Ink a sad smile, he returned it.

Ink hugged Error, it felt...

comforting?

Yeah, it felt comforting...Error normally hated being touched, but this was nice. He felt secure, it wasn't a common feeling, but it had been more so since he met Ink.

Error hugged Ink back with one tear before going back to the doodlesphere.

'Well...I know how I feel now, that's a start' Error thought.

Error held the AU in his hands again. Extremely carefully, he brought it up to his face and examined it's code. It wasn't fully developed so many parts of it's code where missing but he could read the word "Paperjam" in the main file.

'What could that mean?'
