"Hi daddy." The little skeleton greeted his father.
"Hey bud. How was your day?"
"Ok, Goth came over with auntie Geno and we played for a few hours."
His face darkened a bit before he started speaking.
"It's too bad you or mom are never around when he comes over, you could play with us..."
"I'm sorry PJ. Me and your mom are just busy. We both love you very much..." He pet PJ's head affectionately.
"I just miss you so much when you're gone..."He started to cry.
"And I get really lonely s-sometimes. I-I start y-yelling at n-nothing and s-saying bad th-things about you t-two. B-But I love you too...I s-swear..." He hugs Error and cries into his coat. Error slowly wraps his arms around his son.
"I know, PJ. I know...I'm sorry..."
"PJ's getting worse, Ink. He's started talking to himself when we're gone. He says he screams at us when we're not around because we're always gone..."
"..." Ink was silent, he stared at the ground.
"I know I said that PJ would be fine while we're out, I know. But please, I'm just as concerned as you are. I'm so sorry Ink, I don't know what to do..."
"...We're horrible parents..."
"...I know..."
Ink fell into Error, gripping him tightly. "...Do you think he'd be better with a different family...? Even a single parent could take care of him better than us..."
"Don't say that, we just...need to work harder..."
"That's what got us into this damn problem...asshole..."
They stayed like that the whole night not saying a word, it was the longest night of their lives.
