Hello Bonitas. Here is the first chapter of "The One That Stuck". I'm excited but nervous as fudge. I hope you enjoy!!
"Congratulations Mrs. Wiltherman! You gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl," the doctor announced as he handed me my baby. Her cute little screams filled the room. As soon as she touched my hand I fell in love with her. Then my tears swelled up. The fact that I wouldn't be able to keep her broke my her into a bunch of pieces I can never keep her...risk her life. Not with the job I have
"Take...her...back," I harshly choked out, "Take her back!!" I pushed her back into the doctors hand and screamed,
"Take her with you and get the hell out!!"
They hesitantly walked out the door and out of my life my life. I never saw her, my beautiful flesh and blood again.
Present Day
"Genesis Macenfield?"
I heard my name being called and replied "Present,". My science teacher, Mrs.Tramp...oops Mrs. Tromp, was doing roll call.
"8th fudging period...FINALLY," I whispered to my best friend, Janet.
i swear to zombies, we could easily pass as sisters. we had the same caramel toned skin and the same big, brown hazel eyes. Our lips had the same perk.
"I know,"she said in a whining voice, "Mrs.Tramp is getting on my last nerves. but this is what we have to do in order to get into..."
"Harvard" we said in a hushed singsongy voice.
We redirected our attention to the shedevil who gives us a look of suspicion. Janet and I gave her "What the Heck you looking at face" in the nicest possible way. I turned and glanced over to my longtime crush, Darrel. His beautiful medium cut sleek black hair slicked back to his neck and his cute green eyes stared at his friend, Aaron, whom hew was talking to as well.
"Ooooooh, someone sneaking a look at her boo!" Janet exclaimed as loud as possible without causing attention
"Shush up!" I said fake pouting,"We'd just agree to be friends...and nothing else. Unfortunately, I told the wrong friend about my crush and know he 25% hates me."
"It's ok. You'll find someone else," she said genuinely reassuring me.
"if only i could," I said in my thoughts. Then I returned to listen to the gosh awful lecture from the teacher.
Did you like I tried my best on this one sooo don't Judge to much. You'll Get to learn more about the kids just introduced.
