Lost In This Mind

First Day Back

12:09 p.m.

January 3rd 

Kuroo: 

Today is the day I go back to school.. I slept in till about 11 so I like just woke up an hour ago. I'm kinda excited but because I wanted everything about this new cutie to be a mystery I didn't look up his instagram. I'm actually kinda nervous which isn't good, but it is the price to pay! Ugh I haven't thought of a good enough line or intro to say to him when I meet him. Maybe I should just improvise it when I meet him... Or maybe I could say something like "Hey there cutie haven't seen you around here before"..... DAMN! that wouldn't work at all.. that would probably make me sound like a complete perv... I don't want him to know that yet..... Ugh what should I say.... 

The thought lingered on my mind until it was finally 12:09 p.m. it's when lunch break starts and I go to see Bokuto and Akaashi during it. Sometimes we come back to my apartment and smoke. My dad doesn't really care that I smoke with friends because when he confronts me on it I usually just use his own stories against him. Like how he used to do coke and meth and heroine. So he can't talk shit because all I'm doing is smoking a little bit of weed it doesn't ever take much for me to feel the calm high that I usually stop at.  

My thoughts were interrupted as I remembered what time it was. I hurriedly put my shoes on and grabbed my backpack making sure my hair looked okay-ish it never really did due to constant bed head. But oh well I just wanted to look somewhat nice so I looked into the body mirror by my door and checked out the ripped black skinny jeans and red flannel I was wearing making sure it looked awesome. I looked down to a snapchat notification from Bokuto and it was a picture of the three new people added to our group. Kenma, Kageyama, HInata, and Akaashi all sitting in the quad waiting for me. In the black bar of the photo it said "Hurry up dude or we are gonna go get some food and just stay here for lunch. Hinata wants to smoke with us." Oh shit!

I ran as fast as I could it usually only takes me 8 minutes to get to the high school but with running it only took me maybe 4 minutes when I reached the school huffing and puffing Bokuto pulled out the water bottle he always had with him. It had owl stickers all over it. I chugged basically all of it. I looked to the bigger amount of people staring at me getting slightly nervous. Thankfully Bokuto knew how to avoid things getting super awkward. 

"Hey guys how 'bout we head over to Kuroo's and from there we can do introductions and what not." 

"Yayyyyy!!" The little ball of orange hair shouted I couldn't help but laugh at Hinata acting like a child. 

"Dumb ass stay beside me or you'll bump into someone!" Kageyama shouted to the orange haired boy lazily walking backwards. 

"No I don't wanna! Kenma! Kageyama is being mean to me!!" I was just watching these three interact while Bokuto and Akaashi where having there own little conversation behind us. I turned to look at Kenma. He was wearing a beautiful pastel pink sweater with what looks like nothing underneath it. The only other accessory he had was is beautiful amethyst hung on a black string it suited him so well. He was wearing just plain black skinny jeans and on the left side there was a hole in the knee showing off his pale skin. His shoes were just plain black off brand vans. Kuroo smiled to himself as he went back to listening to Kageyama and Hinata childishly fighting about how Hinata wanted Kageyama to hold his hand. They were cute.. that much was undeniable. 

They were getting very close to Kuroos's apartment complex and for some reason he felt slightly nervous because this was going to be Kenmas first, first impression of Kuroos room. He had a nice sized bed and a couch placed in his room along with a small t.v. in the corner. His friends had bought his and given him various tapestries and blankets to hang on the walls of his room. Well mostly he was worried about how dweeby he'd look with a huge Howl's Moving Castle blanket in his room. The other tapestries were colorful and full of life and love. He had made sure to put all of his laundry away and tidy up today. Usually he doesn't care but today is a day full of first impressions and Kuroo had to make sure he put a good first impression on Kenma so hopefully they could grow closer. They reached the door and of course Kuroo had to dig in his bag for his key and as doing so the dog that Charlene owned barked at the door. That dog was huge and annoying most of the time Kuroo would prefer a cat but of course he wasn't allowed to get one due to the loud ass dog. Finally after looking for what felt like forever Kuroo found the key and unlocked the janky looking apartment.
