I wake up to find the brightness shining. I check the time, it's 4:30 am. I get up and head to the balcony to inhale the fresh air with the scent of the forest. Forest? Yep I live in the middle of the forest with my friends along with my brother and sister. I'm The Jade Angel, I was given that assassin name because under my black hood you see my bright jade eyes and they also say I look like an angel but you know what they all say, looks are deceiving.
I head to the shower and washed my hair with mint scented shampoo, with some strawberry and cinnamon body wash. After the shower, I grab 2 warm fluffy towels to wrap around my hair and body. I pick out my outfit for today, it was a black cropped halter top paired with a B&W skirt and a denim jacket with some ankle boots. I grabbed my phone, shades and silver bracelet because I need them when I go out, you never know when you need them. I use the shades to conceal my jade eyes, just in case someone recognizes me.

I brushed my hair and head downstairs for breakfast. I kept a silver dagger in the holster on my thigh just in case something bad happens. I'm not the nice, happy girl you see... I'm the opposite. I'm cold, merciless, ruthless, and dangerous. I walked down the marble stairs and into the kitchen
I sniff the air to find the scent of Nutella pancakes and strawberry syrup. I open my eyes to see Zade cooking the pancakes.
"Morning Z. Watcha cooking?" I ask as my stomach grumbled.
"Your favorite!" He says with a warm smile.
"Morning guys!" Everyone said in unison.
There was a long silence before everyone laughed, but me.
"Jade, you have to do a job today." Slate says
"What?" Everyone asks.
"Alpha Grey of Moon Crescent wants us to kill Jamie (hay-meh) Silverblood of Blood Moon. Jamie killed one of the children of Alpha Grey's beta. It's only fair if he dies too." He says
"We have to do this at night, Jade be prepared by 7:30 pm. And meet me in the forest." He says.
I nodded while eating the heavenly food in my mouth. Seriously. If you don't like Nutella, try it. Nutella is the best thing that happened to me. It's my life.
