Goodbye is a word that means an ending,
Something that can never remain pending.
But will it do me any harm? To wish for everything to stay the same
I will take all the risk, like a moth attracted to a flame
If only there's a way that I can stop the sun from setting,
Or a way to beg the rain to stop pouring.
Then I'll have faith that I can prolong our timeframe.
I, the Prince, is wishing for everything to stay the same
I now realized that sometimes the eyes can't see the black in blue,
Same how it can't see how much I care for you.
For our hearts can only be the unspoken words' key,
Words that can bring both of us to so much glee.
For you who taught me what I failed to see,
I promise that I'll eternally bring every single memory
From the time you told me to try to tame you,
Up to this moment you gave me the secrets as precious as a hue.

This poem is inspired by the story "The Little Prince". Our teacher asked us to write a poem about it and I came up with this. For me this is really precious because my teacher praised me for it and said that she really felt every words. This will always be a memorable piece <3
