The book has been open, now let the story begin.
In the middle of a dark path that even a shadow can't be seen
All alone stands a little bird cowering in fear
Afraid to take a step, afraid to know what's in the clearIt wants to fly away but couldn't- no matter how much it tries
Like a dandelion so fragile, 'twill break even just with a slightest touch
Hoping for a small light to come and lit the night
Though after waiting for a time still it wouldn't comeThen suddenly, a faint glow came upon
Firing up the hope that was slowly dying down
Slowly it came, like being guided by the gentle wind's blow
The in depth darkness there was once, now's filled with a magnificent glowThe little bird took a step, uncertainty within
Then it sprang free, away from precipice, leaving behind any fear
For the lantern has bestowed a warming light
As a mother wraps her arms around her child---
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL THE MOTHERS OUT THERE!
