Assalaamu alaikum! This is the last update for this week! Till next week again inshaa Allah. Have a nice weekend Lovelies!

"Mum, you need to listen to me. I can take care of myself." I said gently.

She stood up and glared at me "My husband took care of you and gave you everything you could ever imagine. All he has ever asked of you is just this and look how you're turning us down. Your Dad and I..."

"HE'S NOT MY REAL DAD." I yelled.

"Listen to me, he had been taking care of you ever since you were a child so he's your Father." She snapped.

I raked my hands through my hair in frustration. I walked away and entered my old room locking the door.

I didn't go out of the room the whole evening. I didn't even eat dinner, I prayed in my room. There had been knocks on the door, I would ignore it all the time. Even my siblings came over, I had told them I would see them the next morning inshaa Allah.

The next morning, I woke up early, did my morning business in the bathroom and went to the mosque after performing ablution.

We had just entered summer and it was pretty warm outside.

After Salah, I went into my room without waiting for my other Dad (who came back the other night) and my baby brother Zayed.

I took a shower and got changed into jeans and a grey shirt. My door was suddenly bursted open and Khairat came in grinning ear to ear.

"How many times will I tell you to knock before coming in?" I quarrelled with a smile.

She smiled sheepishly "Sorry brother, I am just so excited to meet you since you didn't allow us in yesterday evening." She explained.

I knelt down to her level and kissed her forehead, stroking her dark hair which fell down her shoulders.

"I am sorry about yesterday, okay?"

She hugged me "It's okay."

She let me go and I stood up "Mum wants you down for breakfast. We are having a very early breakfast since you didn't eat dinner last night." She informed me.

I smiled softly and nodded "Okay, let's go my little princess."

She giggled cutely "What did you bring for me Brother?" She asked.

"Hmm...let me see, what do you want?"

"To be honest...nothing. I am just glad you're back home with us. I missed you alot."

"Me too." I held my hand out for her to take and she did.

"Let's go eat, later I will show you all I have gotten for you both."

Her dark blue eyes shone with happiness and I smiled as we used the elevator down to the dining room where everyone was sitted.

I greeted Mum and her husband. Zayed hugged me as I sat beside him while Khairat went to sit beside Mum opposite us.

My Step-Dad was at the head sitted gracefully, he smiled cheerfully at me.

"Son, I had checked up on you last night but you wouldn't open the door, uhn?" He confronted me with a smile plastered on his face.
