Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh! I am so sorry for updating late again. School has been really hectic, it's not easy being a student.May Allah make everything easy for us. Another update for you all, read, learn something from it and use what you have learnt in a good way to help the Muslim Ummah.
Aeesha's Pov
Sakeenah walked towards us and frowned as she asked "What's going on over here? And why are you all looking at me...as if you have seen a ghost?" She laughed softly at the last part.
Guilt rushed over me and I bit my lips.
Ahmad was still staring at me and with his back to her.
I gulped hard "We were planning a surprise for you on...on your wedding." I blurted out.
She squealed enthusiastically "What!!! I love surprises!" She said.
I didn't want to know their reaction but what really mattered was Sakeenah.
I did love him but his happiness mattered the most and I would not betray Sakeenah for my own selfishness.
She trusted me enough to be her bridesmaid. If I am going to die, I wanted to die with no regrets and guilt.
I turned to the girls "Girls, don't forget we are going shopping in the next..."
I checked my wristwatch "Ten more minutes. Get ready now!" I added.
"What?" They all said simultaneously.
I pleaded with them using my eyes.
"Fine!" Sa'adah huffed crossing her arms.
Sakeenah smiled "Uncle Zayn has sent the clothes to my room. That was what I wanted to show you. Come let's go, you have to change." She said.
I nodded "Sure, of course." I turned to the girls "Uncle got us some clothes since we all came...unprepared."
Firdaus smiled "Thank God! I need to go take a shower again and change."
"Me too!" Dilshaad joined in.
"Aeesha...I..." Batul started but stopped midway.
She had been quiet since, staring at us with lots of emotions.
