"Are you okay?"

It has been days since I saw Soonhee.

"No."

It has been days since I last saw her eating breakfast in the kitchen.

"You... want to sit with me here?"

It has been days since she was beside me.

"No."

It has been days since our little talk.

"Why not?"

It has been days since I last fought with her.

He looked at the girl, eyes were cold since the moment he came.

It's been days since I last saw her eyes.

"Because if I do, who would save you?"

And it has been days since she last opened her eyes.

The girl chuckled. Peeping at what is beneath her.

"You have never looked down here, haven't you?"

No matter how hard the girl tried to sweep away the topic, he still insisted.

"Answer me."

The girl turned her head to look at him.

She just shrugged.

"No one saved me."

He glared at the girl.

"Didn't I?"

The girl looked away, staring into space.

Her cold hands parted with the cold metal railings.

His glare faded as it was replaced by widened eyes.

And before he could even make a run for it, the girl croaked out,

"Don't run."

He froze on his spot.

The girl's other hand did as well; fingers tightly wrapped around the railings slowly loosened.

"You know," she smiled.

The only thing keeping the girl from falling was her sense of balance.

And him.

"You could've left me in the first place."

What was she talking about?

Even though this was only playing in his mind, he couldn't stop himself from being confused.

He wondered.

"Who are you?"

The girl looked at him again.

Then and there, he realized,

Her eyes looked familiar.

He was so caught up in the beauty of her eyes, not being aware that he has seen them before.

With one swift turn, the girl landed safely on the floor - away from the edge.

"A dream."

He never wanted her to be just a dream.

"Are you real?"

It seems as if he was a lost puppy. What did the lyrics of that song said?

Searching for meaning.

The girl chuckled.

"Silly."

He frowned.

"I'm not joking."

"You did."

His eyebrows furrowed.

"What?"

The world around him warped, but she didn't.

It was a dream, but he can experience pain.

His eyes hurt from the warping.

His head hurts from the dizziness.

And for some reason, so did his heart.

It was surreal.

"I don't understand."

Little by little, he fell to his knees.

"No one does."

He blinked.

And with one blink, she was gone.
