Chapter 16
Jerome's P.O.V.

I open my eyes to sunshine beating on my face, I groan and pull a pillow over my head. Slowly I peek out of my pillow as I hear the bathroom door open. Mitch walks out with a towel wrapped around his wait, and his hair still wet. He starts digging through the drawers looking for clothes with his back turned towards me. I quickly get out of bed silently, and walk behind him. I trail my fingers down the side of his body, he jumps at my first touch then relaxes and let's the chills take over. Mitch turns around, with a blank expression on his face.
"I love you no matter what happens today. Just promise me you will be okay in the end?" Mitch says looking down letting the tears fall.
"Mitch, I promise everything will be okay when it all ends," (THAT MOMENT WHEN THE TITLE MAKES SENSE!!!) I tell his lifting up his chin to look at me. Slowly he connects our lips in perfect motion, making me fall apart one piece at a time. We pull back for breath, but keep our foreheads together.
"I will make sure to do everything in my power to see you tonight," he whispers, then plants a kiss on my lips to finish. Then the knocking came, here's where it could end.

Hey guys I am super sorry for not updating for a while! I feel terrible, please forgive me I fan. So I have been having major writer block but I don't think that is going to be that big of a problem now because I am getting to the exciting part!
