Alisha's Point Of View: When I arrived at my mama's house I'm asuming she was getting ready for something. Because she answered the door in a robe. "Alisha, hey what are you doing here?" She asks me letting me inside the house.
"Me and Malak just broke up." I say breaking down into tears.
She hugged me then gave me a kiss.
"What happened?" She asks looking me in my eyes.
"Because he cheated on me with this girl when I got home he was on top of her kissing, and I just been feeling like he's been losing feelings and I sorta been feeling the same way." I explain.
My mom just stared at me for a second then said something.
"Well if he isn't the one for you then he isn't I'm glad you came to me, ever since you left for college I've been missing you." She says rubbing my back.
"So I don't have anyone to live with, since your my mom can I live with you until I start making more money?" I ask.
My mom stared at me with an unsure look.
"Okay but you'll need to help paying for bills." She says.
"Thanks mom." I say hugging her.
"Tonight I'm going out wuth a friend if you need me to stay I can." She insists.
"No go ahead and enjoy yourself." I say forcing a smile on my face.
My mom smiled back then went up to her room to finish getting ready. About 5 minutes later I heard a knock on the door. I'm assuming he's the one taking my mom out. I had let him.
"Hi you must be my mom's date." I say going to sit in my seat.
"Um yeah I am, who are you one of her friends?" He asks politely.
I chuckled.
"Ha no I'm actually her daughter." I reply.
He nodded his head awkwardly like something was wrong.
"So you must really like my mom?" I ask him.
"Yeah she's a very beautiful women filled with happiness." He replies.
"Yeah well she told me she always been heart broken since my father left sad thing is I never met him, I never questioned her about his disappearance." I say a bit embarrassed.
He cleared his throat.
"Sorry to hear that." He says awkwardly.
"I'm so sorry if I made it awkward." I apologize.
That's when my mom came down looking very beautiful.
