I stretched my limbs before sliding out of bed to go brush my teeth clean. Dragging myself, I managed to make it and leaned lazily over the counter. I looked at myself through the mirror.

A dead zombie.

That's what I looked like right now. My hair was disheveled, my tank top was rising over my belly, my eyes had bags under them... The list went on and on.

This is what happens when I go on a spray. Must I add with an idiot of a friend who managed to get us caught, well almost, by the cops. I mean, sure it was exhilarating and a rush of excitement blurred through me for a moment, but the outcome was what bothered me.

Must I tell you again about my relentless scrubbing in my hair? Didn't think so.

Moments later, my breath smelt of spearmint and my hair was patted down with a brush. I slipped over a white tee that had The Beatles over it and a pair of hole-y jeans.

As soon as I was dressed, I grabbed my skateboard and slipped my phone in my back pocket, and ran down stairs.

No one was home... As usual.

I shrugged and grabbed myself an apple and left the house. I tossed my board on my driveway and placed my right foot on it. Then I began to push off with my other foot and made my way down the street, no where in particular.

My phone began to vibrate on my behind so I took it out to see it was Markus.

"Yoooo! What are you doing?"

I tolled my eyes, "Skating. You?"

"Over the Deep End with the guys. Meet us here in ten?" He asked.

The Deep End was basically an abandoned indoor swimming pool that no one would ever go to. Besides us. Myself and a couple of friends made our own little skatepark thingy out of it. We did man-made ramps and placed them all over the empty pool floor. Then I decided to add a few Christmas lights around the border of the whole pool to add a cool but eerie feeling to it.

Honestly, it was pretty rad.

"Yeah. I'll be there."

I heard him clap his hands, "Alright, see you!"

After I hung up, I hurriedly made it to the pool. I made a quick halt and popped the skateboard up to my hands before walking into the building. After a few twists and turns, voices and the sound of wheels and boards scraping across the cement became louder.

"Charlie!"

Markus came running up to me and grabbed me around my waist and swung me around in his arms. I laughed as he placed me down back on my two feet.

"What's up?" I asked, making my way to the edge of the pool.

Zach, Luke, Andrew, Derek, and Dan were all skating below me. Each doing some type of pop up or trick, one falling every now and then.

I sat down and let my legs and feet dangle over the side. I mean, I like to skate, but sometimes I just like to watch the boys do their own thing. If you're wondering where the girls are at, you're looking at her right now.

I'm the only girl within our whole group of friends. And to tell yoh the truth, it does get awkward throughout some conversations. Guys will always be guys, and we all know they can't go ten seconds without their innuendos. But hey, we treat each other like family and we all have respect for one another.

Markus stood beside me with a Sprite in his hand. I thanked him with a smile and popped it open, gulping it down my dry throat.

"Yo! Charlie's here!" Mark yelled through his cupped hands.
