Red, white and Blue lights and sirens are only trouble.

"Come on McKenna" the whole station knows me. Ive been there so many times i cant even count.

Officer Jones grabbed my skateboard helping me down from the park tree i was in.

"You cant keep doin this" he handed me Gordan and pushed me towards the car.

"Im leavin soon".

"Oh really i wonder why" he got in the drivers seat turning the key.

"Im going to live with Owen" he hummed turning into the neighborhood.

I snapped a picture of Jones making him jump. "Stop that" he tried grabbing my camera but almost ran into a mailbox.

He pulled up into the driveway and Ma ran towards the car. I stepped out and she immediately pulled me into a hug. "Thanks Officer Jones" he waved and pulled away.

Ma drapped her arm around my shoulder crying as we walked inside.

Pops was sitting at the kitchen table watching football. Ma pushed me up the stairs.

"I saw Officer Jones did he find her" Ma yelled a quick no before pushing me into my room.

My room had very little things only pictures my back pack, skateboard and my clothes. But everything was packed up the only thing out was what i had on me.

"Here" she shoved money and a plane ticket in my hands along with my bag full of stuff. Smiling i hugged her.

I snuck out the window throwing my skateboard first. Ma blew me a kiss wiping her tears as i jumped off the roof. Gordan was secured in my pocket as i snapped a last picture of the house.

"McKenna wait" Zach ran over as i stepped on my skateboard.

"Zach dont sweat it you were just trying to impress Taylor i get" as if.

"I shouldnt have though" then why did you huh? I do badly wanted to ask him that.

"Yeah but you still did" shaking my head i turned away but i forgot something. "Oh give this to your Mom its my brothers phone number" pushing off i got further down the road when he yelled back at me.

"Wait your leaving" i laughed brushing my right foot on the ground making me go faster.

"Bye Zach cya when i cya" looking to see if he was still there i laughed when i saw he was. Serves him right.

The sun is going down so i better get moving. I have another couple of hours before i get to the airport for my 4:30 in the mornin flight.

Stopping i propped my board up and grabbed the phone attached to the payphone. Looking in my bag and found a quarter and slipped it into the machine. "Come on pick up" a cat screached making me jump.

"Yellow this is the older awesomer Grady how may i help you" i sniffed while smiling. Now thats the big brother i remember.

"You might be older but you sure arent awesomer its not even a word".

"Mac why aren't you home and are you crying" yeah i was in fact crying. Grabbing my scarf i wiped up my tears.

"I have a 4 in the mornin flight to Costa Rica then im taking the boat down to the island".

"Wait Dad actually said yes" Oops i rubbed the back of my neck looking at my surroundings.

"Well Ma did but Pops got mad about the whole Aquarium thing today so Ma packed up my stuff and now im outside of starbucks" he sounded stressed out. I can tell by all the tapping hes doing. He always does that when hes stressed.

"Ill meet you at the airport and we both will ride back on the boats" nodding i look at my surroundings.
"Oh and i heard about the Aquarium thing im gonna kill the kid if i ever meet him" thank god someone believes me.

"Yeah you've got explaining to do" he laughed. I tucked my hair behind my ear biting my lip. I get nervous when im out at night by myself. Its just not safe for a ten year old like me. Why couldn't I have just gotten a ride from Jones or somthin.

"Yeah ok well you better get going you have four hours until your flight.

"Bye Owen".

"Bye".

I hung up and dropped my board jumping on.

(Three hours later)

I made my way towards the airport only having a hour till my flight. "Ms you dropped this" turning i saw an older women with my passport.

"Oh thank you so much" she handed it to me with a grandmotherly smile. She walked towards her car waving at me. I waved back grabbing my board and walking inside the doors.

Thrity minutes left.

I ran towards my gate and sat down by the door. The door leading to the plane opened and the flight attendant looked straight at me. "Are you on the flight for Coasta Rica" i nodded and she seddled on her stool. "Do you have family with you" shaking my head i propped my feet on the chair next to me.

"Im meeting my brother down there" she nodded picking up a clipboard.

"Well it seems nobody but you and i will be boarding come on" i perked up and ran down the hall towards the plane. She laughed and followed behind me with her clipboard and glasses in hand. "Would you like anything" i shook my head and sat down in a window seat.

She sat beside me taking off her heals. "Im Mac" she shook my outstretched hand.

"Margret" she put on her glasses and flipped threw her clipboard. "Do you really not need anything a snack or a drink maybe" i laughed shaking my head.

"Ok well im gonna sleep so if you need me" i put my head on the window and slowly closed my eyes.

Margret mumbled something but i couldnt tell what. I dreamed of being with Owen and the new Raptors he was gonna imprint on.

Maybe someday ill see everyone again. Maybe someday ill understand.
