Chapter 3

Cloe’s POV

“Are you ok?” He asked as calm as he could muster. His ragged breathing indicating that he was calming himself down from what just happened. When he actually got a good look at my blood covered face he turned furious. He was literally shaking with anger, anger that was nowhere near directed to me but to the man now lying unconscious on the ground.

“Yea I’m ok thanks for showing up when you did um I don’t know your name.” I responded trying to calm him down. 

“My name is Colton. Your’s is?” I could tell it was taking everything in him to say calm

“I’m Cloe. Cloe Tiller.” Something must have clicked because his face showed shock.

“Here come with me, we’ll go inside and get you checked out and find you brothers.”

“You know Caiden and Cole?” I asked stunned

“I guess you don’t pay much attition to the games do you?” he semi laughed

“I do but most my attition is put on the cheers and my brothers.”

“Well I play basketball with them. Here let’s get you where we can see the extent of what this b*****d did. Can you stand?”

As I tried to get up a managed to stand but as soon as I put pressure on my left foot I know something was wrong. Pain shot up my leg. I closed my eyes waiting for the impact but it never came then I realized then there was an arm snaked around my waist supporting me. He was holding me upright my back to his front.

“Whoa there here I don’t want to hurt you but you can’t walk” He said.

Before I knew what he was talking about I felt myself being picked up bridal style being careful not to touch the wound on my leg. When we entered the gym it seemed as if everyone had stopped what they were doing to look at us. Soon my brothers came running through the crowd.

“Cloe oh god are you ok?” Cloe said as he grabbed me hard trying to pull me away from Colton. I whimpered and dug more into Colton’s chest as Cole hit some of the same spots the man who attacked me did. That’s when Caiden noticed the blood over my body.

“Cloe what the h**l happened to you?” he asked concerned. I looked up to Colton to see if he would explain and he got the message.

“I walked outside and heard screaming and I rushed over to see what was going on. When I got there I was her on the ground and some guy beating her.” He stop to take a breath “I rushed over and knock the man unconscious.”  

Cole looked at Caiden and I knew that look.

“Come on Cole.” Caiden spoke first

“Guys no please stay here.” I cried but they were already gone. “They left me.” It came out as a whisper

sorry guys but I've been really busy and with sports and a collage class AND my high school classes I'm so sorry but I'm trying.
